Digital Kneeboard Simulator

Changelog

All notable changes to Digital Kneeboard Simulator are documented here, organized by month with the most recent changes first.

September 2026

Features

  • Installing DKS as an app from Chrome or Edge now works as a real app install — reinstall it to have DKS appear under Open with for .acmi files.

  • Open a Tacview recording in DKS straight from Windows — install DKS as an app from Chrome or Edge, then right-click any .acmi and choose Open with → Digital Kneeboard Simulator.

  • Design folders can now hold sub-folders — right-click a folder for New Sub-folder…, move whole folders around, and drag designs into any level of the tree.

  • Each design row shows who created it — the name sits at the end of the row's subtitle so you know who to ask about a kneeboard.

  • Put an admin timeline on the kneeboard — drop the Admin Timeline block into a template and the Misc tab gains event rows that take their time from Takeoff, Launch or any waypoint, or count +HH:MM / -HH:MM from the nearest linked row.

  • Show each member's loadout code in the aircrew table — switch on the LOADOUT column in the template builder and it fills itself from the Loadout tab.

  • Frame the Mission Map page yourself — a Mission Map Bounds button on the Waypoints tab draws the rectangle the page shows, so the whole battlespace fits instead of just your route.

  • Jump the map to any threat on the OPFOR tab — Show on map on a threat row centres the map on that site, so identical SAMs are easy to tell apart.

  • Filter OPFOR ground units by SAM, AAA or EWR — the filter bar's new segment narrows the list to the air-defence kind you're planning against.

  • Name the bullseye in live-view GCI — set a callsign like SPARROW in the GCI settings and every picture call, contact row and map label uses it.

  • Flight members can carry an ATC callsign beside their tactical one — switch on the ATC C/S column in the template builder's aircrew table and the Flight Members tab gains a matching field.

  • Give each flight member a row color — pick a swatch beside a member on the Flight Members tab and their whole row prints in that color on the kneeboard.

  • The LSO cam in Realview now moves smoothly between telemetry updates — the jet is carried forward to the present instant and eased onto each new sample instead of stepping every fifth of a second.

  • Plan a flight in the mission's weather — a new Weather checkbox beside Calculate Flight Plan makes leg times, ETAs and fuel use the ground speed through the mission's winds, and puts the wind correction into every heading.

  • Speeds can be entered as TAS as well as GS — the speed unit now cycles CAS, Mach, TAS and GS, and a ground speed is read against the leg's own track when weather is on.

  • Low-level panel times now match its ground-speed cell — BEGIN, END and TOTAL are computed from the same wind the GND and WCA cells show, using DCS's real wind-layer altitudes.

  • Debrief airspeeds account for the mission's temperature — enhanced server recordings now carry the day's temperature, so CAS and Mach on a hot or cold mission read as the cockpit gauges did.

  • Highways stay whole on TPC charts — interstates no longer vanish inside cities or break at bridges, and city arterials draw as continuous through routes instead of stubs.

  • Marianas WWII gets its own TPC chart and appears in the theater lists — the map style picker offers TPC Chart (DCS data) on the WWII map, and WWII missions resolve to it with their own airfields, terrain and towns.

  • TPC charts mark sparsely built towns as cities — Sochi, Anapa, Tuapse and similar towns now get the urban tint, and residential streets and dense field-road grids no longer hatch the chart.

  • Build map symbols without the raw code — the symbol dialog now offers ground, air, sea and subsurface catalogs with affiliation, status, echelon, headquarters and mobility options.

  • New map symbols start at the middle size — the size slider opens on its centre notch instead of the largest setting.

  • Reorder and exclude kneeboard pages from the preview tabs — drag a tab to change its export order, or right-click it to leave that page out of the ZIP.

  • Exported pages now come in the same order as the preview tabs — DPI cards, the range plan and the package page land where the tab strip shows them.

  • See the danger zone of every bomb in the debrief — the new SAFE layer grows a safety envelope and risk-estimate rings out of each impact, and flags any jet the envelope reaches.

  • Enter each bomb's fuze in the debrief — set contact, airburst, delay or dud and the arming delay on a weapon's legend and the envelope redraws to match, for the whole ripple in one click.

  • Check your own frag escape — select a bomb to see the burst it could have made the instant it armed, and the legend recommends the shortest arming delay on your fuze that keeps you clear.

  • Draw practice bombs' envelopes too — a PRAC toggle under the SAFE layer treats BDU-33s and their kind as the live bomb they stand in for.

  • Tag a coalition partner's unit on your ATO flights — the Unit field on a joint op now offers every coalition squadron's units, and each partner's Discord server pings its own unit's role.

  • Put a member in more than one unit — the roster's Unit column is now a multi-select, with the first pick as the member's primary unit for colour and sorting.

  • Faster debrief startup, with 3D as the default — local recordings and new squadron uploads process faster without reducing flight-data precision. Repeat visits reuse prepared terrain colors, and replay opens while terrain and aircraft detail arrive. The 2D view now uses a clear, north-up view of the same terrain, without atmospheric haze: pan and zoom the same world, then smoothly change perspective back to 3D without reloading the scene. The compass, 2D camera, and Alt+click yardstick share DCS grid north, including while looking straight down. Also fixes a crash when opening saved debriefs and camera direction jumps while using WASD.

  • See every flight's planned route on a live overlay — when a squadron server is linked to DCSServerBot, the mission's air-group routes appear as dashed, labelled lines beside the live picture, and pin into the published kneeboard like any drawing.

  • Fly with a TPC chart drawn from the sim itself — the map style picker gains TPC Chart (DCS data) on Afghanistan, Caucasus, Germany Cold War, Iraq, Kola, Marianas, Nevada, Normandy, Persian Gulf, Sinai, South Atlantic, Syria and The Channel: contours, elevation tints, maximum elevation figures, roads, towns, rivers, lakes, airfields and tall obstructions come from the game's own terrain. River widths are approximate where detailed water textures are unavailable. Close-up exported maps keep the chart when zoomed in.

  • Keep local TPC charts current after theater updates — rebuild a theater from fresh elevation and water captures. The last completed chart stays available while its replacement is generated and checked.

  • Select every flight at once when importing a mission — the package flight picker now has Select all and Clear links beside the coalition filters.

  • Hide the bullseye on briefing slides — the map's layer menu now has a Bullseye toggle, saved with the slide view.

  • Print your loadout as a one-line code — the new Loadout Code block shows the selected loadout preset's name, or a compact shorthand like 3AX1WX2A88X2+T+E+H when no preset is applied.

  • Loadout preset picker lines up again — the dropdown and its actions button are the same height, matching the other tabs.

  • Flip any label/value block between a strip and a table — tick Transpose on the block in Template Builder, optionally wrapping the strip into a grid.

  • Refreshed VR room shadows — crossing wall beams no longer flicker, lighting matches the current seating, and the old fixed table no longer leaves a permanent shadow when the table moves.

  • Position your VR minimap — point at the small gold handle from up to 3 feet away and hold either trigger below the instructor pad to move its centre within a 140° arc in front of your seat, up to 1.2 metres away. It turns toward you while moving and holds its angle when released. Zoom buttons now ease in and out, and minimap dragging filters small hand movements and smoothly moves the map.

  • Reach the VR table bar more easily — grab it from up to 3 feet away by pointing at it and holding either trigger.

  • Clearer VR menu interaction — opening Y dims the room and keeps input on the menu, even where it overlaps the table. A visible aiming line and cursor stay above the dimming. Close Y to use room controls again; clicking the instructor pad no longer grabs a prop behind it.

  • Less work while zooming in VR — continuous zoom no longer rebuilds room controls every step.

  • Correct VR minimap team colours — red and blue match the main map even in recordings made by a red-side pilot.

  • Clearer VR model-rack labels — an F-35 joins the aircraft on sticks, with larger, separated aircraft names and one shared pickup instruction make it easier to identify each prop. The figure is labeled Waifu and uses a plain grey finish.

  • More reliable VR button presses — menu, control-pad buttons and wall-board events respond when you press the trigger. Holding it longer or drifting off before release no longer loses the click.

  • Dim just the VR terrain — use Terrain light on the Display page to darken the map without dimming aircraft, overlays or the room. At zero, terrain retains 10% of its normal brightness.

  • Easier VR room interaction — held aircraft sticks follow the controller pointer, caps can be picked up around their full height, and a tilted table blocks clicks on the board behind it. The instructor console sits lower, farther forward and to the left. Raising the table avoids rebuilding menu state on every hand movement.

  • Adjust the VR briefing table — raise or lower its audience edge from 2 inches to 3½ feet, or smoothly cycle its tilt through 0°, 15° and 30° toward the seats. Hold either trigger while pointing at the gold bar from within 3 feet along its near edge and move your hand up or down, or use the Room menu. The mission stays aligned with the tabletop as its supports extend.

  • Demonstrate maneuvers with aircraft on sticks — point at an F-16, F/A-18, F-14, F-15 or Su-27 on the rack and hold the trigger to pick it up; another copy remains ready for the next person. The sticks run forward from behind the tails to the balance point, so you can demonstrate aircraft attitude. There is a Skirk figure too. Everyone in the shared room can see held props, and released copies fall away.

  • Instructor-only dunce caps — the session starter can point at a cap and hold the trigger to take it, move it near another pilot's head to place it, and point and hold the trigger again to remove it. Handing over presentation control does not hand over cap control.

  • Stand and walk around the VR ready room — use Stand up in the Y menu, then walk and turn with the left stick. Recalibrate centres your current posture without guessing whether you are sitting or standing; you can adjust standing eye height too. The menu now separates playback, display, room and diagnostic controls, with a clearer chair picker.

  • Clearer VR room controls — selection pointers have a red centre with light and dark outlines, the Y menu opens farther away, and left-stick turns follow the direction you push. The instructor console is now at front chair 3, beside the left aisle. Choose events on the wall board instead of stepping through them from the menu or console.

  • Less CPU work during VR debriefs — aircraft direction and lift lines avoid processing the whole mission when only your selected pair is shown, and reuse unchanged telemetry while paused. Stationary units also need less processing during playback, and less temporary memory is created each frame, with full visual detail retained.

  • Set a course's grading standard and each ride's pass floor — Course settings lets you word each grade and choose the standard, and a ride can pass at a lower or higher grade than the course does.

  • Remove a document without leaving the lesson — the reading list's document picker now has a remove button.

  • The currency board says when a credit came from training — the history row names the course and ride and links to the gradesheet.

  • Find VR performance bottlenecks from the CO chair — the Y menu can run a five-second test of each major scene layer and send an FPS comparison automatically. Open Y again to cancel; the scene and playback are restored afterward.

  • VR ready-room performance — reduced rendering overhead for pointers and room fixtures. Chairs use lighter meshes while retaining their shape, and chairs outside your view no longer consume rendering work. Room lighting uses less rendering work, while the table and chairs keep highlights that respond as you look around.

  • Pilot avatars in VR debriefs — other pilots wear F-35-style helmets, oxygen masks and detailed gloves in matching muted colours. Avatars stay readable in darker seats. Curled thumbs fold naturally without pulling the palm out of shape. Hands keep a consistent alignment across gestures, with pointing fingers following the controller selection ray. See your own gloves too: squeeze for a fist, point forward for an index finger, or raise an outward hand with its palm facing your head for the middle-finger gesture—you don’t need to look at it.

  • Easier VR seating and clearer aircraft — point at a free chair and pull the trigger to move. Chairs sit closer to the table, the CO tablet is lower, and the table edge holds only the timeline. Terrain defaults to 50% intensity with Luminous aircraft. The Y menu offers terrain brightness and three aircraft contrast styles; select players on the wall board.

  • Zooming out in VR no longer forces detailed terrain work for tabletop height checks — wide views use overview elevations to avoid long freezes.

  • VR performance reports now distinguish the CO chair from the other seats — local test sessions report slow frames automatically, helping diagnose headset slowdowns without exporting a trace.

  • The VR table sits lower and keeps high terrain near its surface as you zoom — aircraft stay visible on crowded minimaps, and the CO tablet floats farther from the chair.

  • VR debrief units start at 3× size — with lighter chair cushions, a more readable CO chair and a small lift in room lighting.

  • Less rendering work in the VR ready room — shared chair rendering, lighter hover previews and a lower-resolution minimap with continuous terrain imagery.

  • A more authentic carrier ready room in VR — framed aviation prints, fitted display cabinets, housed overhead lights and exposed cable runs give the debrief room more character, with softer floor and ceiling shading and brighter lighting around the chairs.

  • The VR debrief room looks like a real ready room — painted steel bulkheads, a squadron colour band, overhead cable runs and the compartment's damage-control markings.

  • Joining a live debrief no longer strands you off the presenter's view — and a new Follow presenter button gets you back whenever you have wandered off.

  • The VR table's timeline sits on the briefer's edge — within reach of the control seat instead of across the plot.

  • The VR table is driven from one chair, not twelve — the console lives at the control seat off to the side; every other chair is a viewer seat.

  • The VR ready-room chairs are the real thing — the yellow pierced-frame recliner with its under-seat locker and folded plotting board.

  • Take the briefer's chair to drive the VR debrief — sitting in it asks for control and leaving it hands control back, and it cannot be taken while somebody else is briefing.

  • The VR debrief is a carrier ready room now — twelve ready-room recliners in two tiered rows either side of a centre aisle, facing a knee-height sand table and the briefing screens.

  • Drive the VR debrief from a kneeboard at your seat — a live minimap of the whole mission on your chair's arm: touch anywhere on it to move the plot there, with the clock, event stepping, zoom and framing around it.

  • Live telemetry for your selected pair on the briefing-room screen — altitude, speed, Mach, G, AoA, heading and climb for both jets side by side, with range, closure and aspect above them.

  • More of the debrief's layers reachable in VR — the 3D line overlays join the headset menu, and anything the headset cannot draw now says so instead of being a button that does nothing.

  • Your own layer changes stick while following a presenter — flipping a label, line or control-zone setting no longer snaps back a moment later, or overwrites what you had saved.

  • Take any seat in the VR debrief — hop chair to chair round the ready-room table with a click of the left stick, or pick the one behind you from the room plan on the menu.

  • Show your radio changes in flight order — enable Show as channel flow on a Radio Condensed Glance block in Template Builder, then enter the sequence in Comm Plan. Channels appear as 1-3-6-3, including returns to earlier channels. Manual text still overrides individual rows.

  • Compare Case I holding sizes — the carrier's Recovery Pattern menu now offers CASE I Marshal (3 nm) and CASE I Marshal (5 nm) diameter guides. Show either one, or both together in different colors to see the range.

  • Place NATO symbols on your maps — right-click Add symbol… on a package or flight map. Preview the symbol, choose its affiliation and echelon, and add an optional label. Drag it to move it; right-click it to change its size or delete it. Package symbols appear across the package's flights, and the Drawings toggle controls them on live and exported maps.

  • Save your colors — keep custom swatches for reuse in Member Overrides and the debrief color pickers across your squadrons in this browser while signed in.

  • Debrief colors follow units — members inherit their unit's color unless you choose an individual color. Clear an individual color to use the unit color again.

  • Draw circles on your maps — the Grid Drawing tool now has a Circle button (shortcut C). Pick a center and radius to mark areas such as controlled airspace.

  • Clickable ATO briefing links — web addresses in briefing notes open directly in a new tab.

  • Smoother terrain joins — elevation maps blend neighboring terrain patches to reduce artificial ridges and trenches, while retaining fine terrain detail. Updated maps also prevent artificial dips and peaks beyond their source elevation range.

  • Debrief together in VR — everyone on a live share stands round the same table: the presenter's framing, clock and selections are shared, and each pilot sees the others' headsets and hands move in real time, with control of the table handed over from the Y menu.

  • Watch a debrief in VR — an Enter VR button on the 3D debrief puts the whole mission on a briefing-room table in front of you (point, grip and drag it like a tablet, glide around the room on the sticks), rides along in any cockpit, plays back from controls on the table edge or a menu on the Y button, and shows the event feed on the briefing room screen; beta, ask to be let in.

  • Pick two aircraft in VR — the left trigger sets the secondary and the right the primary, and a tap near a jet grabs the closest one with repeated taps walking its neighbours.

  • Step to the next event in VR — the menu's Event buttons jump between kills, hits, launches and bookmarks and select who it happened to, with each event marked as a notch on the table-edge slider.

  • Scrub time with the right stick in VR — push it sideways to run the clock forward or back, faster the further you push, and playback picks up where you let go.

  • The VR table glows like a hologram — a soft veil of light rises from the rim around the mission.

  • Steadier hands in VR — the controller and hand models no longer shimmer or break up when you ride a jet.

  • Selection lands the instant you pull the trigger in VR — a press picks the jet the cursor is ringing, with no wait for the release and no way for a wobble to cancel it.

  • Selected jets get a clean circle in VR — the filled glow behind a selection is gone; only the ring remains.

  • See what you are pointing at in VR — each hand's ray shows a dot on the terrain or on any menu and screen, and rings the jet a trigger tap would select with its name above it.

  • Range, closure and aspect between two jets in VR — the numbers float on a dashed line between your two selections, and their merge gets its own notch on the table edge.

  • Shot lines on the VR table, when you want them — the menu's Shots button lights every missile's track as the clock passes it, coloured by whether it killed, hit or missed; off by default, so weapons otherwise look exactly as they do on the desktop.

  • Frame the fight in VR — click the right stick and the table glides onto your two selected jets and keeps following them.

  • Drop a bookmark in VR — hold A for half a second and the controller ticks as a bookmark lands on the table edge, ready to step back to and kept for the desktop debrief.

  • Longer trails on the VR table — the menu's Trail row stretches the ribbon behind each jet from 30 seconds out to the whole sortie.

  • Drag a jet through time in VR — hold the right trigger on your selected jet and pull it along its own trail to rewind or run the whole mission forward to that spot.

  • Padlock from the cockpit in VR — riding a jet with X now keeps your other selected jet ringed through the canopy with its range, clock position and high or low, and a glareshield strip reads your speed, altitude, heading and G.

  • Turn layers on and off from the VR menu — a Layers button opens a card of big on/off buttons beside the menu for the yardstick, control-zone cone, threat rings, waypoints, graphics, bullseyes and the aircraft, ground and weapon filters.

  • The VR briefing screen reads from the table — bigger text, roomier rows and fewer lines on the wall's event feed and aircraft list, and nothing wraps or overflows any more.

  • A red doomsday clock in the VR briefing room — glowing seven-segment digits above the main screen show the mission's Zulu time, the same reading as the desktop debrief's corner clock.

  • DCS roads in planning and Debrief — turn on DCS Roads & Airfields in the map layers, or RDS in Debrief, to show the game's road network in 2D and 3D, including the Contour view. Motorways, smaller roads, tracks, railways, runways and taxiways have distinct styles. Zoom out for a clearer main-road view, zoom in for side streets, or choose Road detail → All roads.

  • Distinct air defenses in 3D Debrief — Tunguska, Gepard, Pantsir-S1, Dog Ear, Patriot tracking radar, and both Hawk search and tracking radars now have recognizable shapes.

  • Misc tab in sub-tabs — Mission, Nav & Bullseye, Fuel & TOLD, Weather and Notes each get their own sub-tab instead of one long scroll.

  • Waypoint advanced options in two columns — the dialog is wider, with how the point is flown on the left and fuel and designation on the right.

  • Squadron standards pick an airframe from a dropdown — configured airframes are grouped and marked, replacing the row of chips.

  • Squadron fuel standards — set your landing minimum, carrier pass cost, Joker buffer and ladder burn once under Squadron Settings → Standards → Fuel, and every kneeboard's BINGO and JOKER follow it.

  • Bingo to your divert — flag a Divert-tab row as the Bingo field and auto BINGO measures the fly-home leg to it instead of the takeoff point.

  • Fuel Ladder kneeboard block — Template Builder gains a Navy-style ladder that counts back from your landing time in your squadron's rungs, with range on the fuel above the floor, Joker and Bingo marks, and a tanker split.

  • Fuel Plan, Fuel Gates and Bingo Matrix blocks — Template Builder also gains a decision-point fuel plan with margins, a one-row strip of your fuel gates in your squadron's unit, and a distance-by-altitude Bingo matrix.

  • Continuation fuel on the flight plan — Template Builder flight-plan tables can show the least fuel you can arrive at each point with and still land at your minimum, plus your planned margin over it.

  • Decision points you choose — a waypoint's advanced options now let you force it onto, or keep it off, the fuel plan regardless of its role.

  • Fuel figures on every airframe — helicopters, warbirds and jets without a burn model now get an auto BINGO and JOKER, MIN and EMERG gates and bingo-matrix bands, labelled as estimates until your squadron sets its own.

  • Ladder times as cycle time — the fuel standard can label ladder rungs from launch (0+15 … 1+30) instead of clock time.

  • Recognizable player weapons in 3D Debrief — TALD, JSOW, AIM-9X, Shrike, and CBU-87/97/103/105 dispensers now have their own shapes, including deployed wings and the different CBU tail kits.

  • Correct Harrier and penetrator JDAM shapes in 3D Debrief — Harriers recorded as AV8BNA now use the Harrier model, and penetrator GBU-31 variants share the detailed JDAM shape.

  • More distinct vehicles in 3D Debrief — GAZ-66 and Ural-375 cargo trucks, Roland, the SA-5 launcher, and Tin Shield now have their own recognizable shapes.

  • More recognizable air defenses in 3D Debrief — Osa, Strela-1, Tor variants, the Buk launcher, both SA-10 launcher variants, and the 1L13 early-warning radar now have their own shapes.

  • Distinct SA-11 and Big Bird vehicles in 3D Debrief — the Buk search radar and command post now have their own tracked shapes, and the SA-10 Big Bird has its tractor, radar trailer, and raised antenna.

  • Distinct tracking radars in 3D Debrief — Fan Song, both mast- and vehicle-mounted Flap Lid versions, Square Pair, and Fire Can now have their own shapes.

  • Recognizable LAV-25 in 3D Debrief — the eight-wheeled scout vehicle now has its own sloped hull, angular turret, and visible suspension.

  • Recognizable BMD-1 in 3D Debrief — the airborne fighting vehicle now has its own boat-shaped hull, low turret, and five-wheel tracks with visible suspension.

  • Recognizable Hellfires in 3D Debrief — AGM-114K and generic Hellfire tracks now have the rounded nose, small forward fins, and long swept tail fins of a Hellfire II.

  • Recognizable Kiowa in 3D — The OH-58D now has its own shape, including the mast-mounted sight, skids, rotor discs, and separately shaded cockpit glass.

  • Distinct JDAM shapes in 3D Debrief — GBU-38 and Mk 84–based GBU-31 bombs now have their own bodies, strakes, and tail fins instead of the generic bomb shape.

  • The Laser Codes kneeboard block now prints the codes you enter on the DTC tab — the Apache and Kiowa slot table picks up the Laser section's other-unit codes, and shows none when that section is switched off.

  • Syria buildings in 3D Debrief — towns, airfields, and landmarks now have 3D scenery, including the expanded map's northern and southern edges. Scenery downloads around your view as you move, with each download under 3 MB.

  • More buildings in 3D Debrief — Afghanistan, Caucasus, Persian Gulf, Marianas, The Channel, Normandy, Sinai, South Atlantic, Kola, Iraq, and Cold War Germany towns, airfields, and landmarks now have 3D scenery that downloads around your view as you move.

  • More reliable Tacview speed trails — Debrief now corrects shared timing jumps, including smaller hiccups and groups of delayed updates that can cause misleading speed changes. Grouped timing errors are also checked through turns, including delayed updates that leave a bright stripe behind after the speed bump has passed. Suspect corrections that make speed or acceleration spikes worse are skipped. The timing correction preserves the recorded positions. Long recording stalls and two seconds on either side are left alone. Use Ops Log → Reprocess on existing recordings with the original ACMI available to pick up the fix.

  • Energy trails focus on your selected pair — Energy colours now appear only on the primary and secondary selected aircraft. Other aircraft keep their normal trail colours.

  • More accurate Tacview debriefs — corrected a distance error that could affect hit credit, firing-aircraft attribution, and playback speeds in recordings with a shifted map reference.

  • Faster large Tacview imports — recordings with heavy gunfire and countermeasure use now load faster into Debrief.

  • ATO task descriptions follow the flight plan — Target / task now uses the description of your Task waypoint, even without an aircraft assigned. In advanced mode it follows the primary route’s Task. Plans without a Task keep their existing target text.

  • Package templates when building out pre-plans — use a saved package template when turning an ATO pre-plan into a full op. Your pre-plan’s name and sign-ups stay in place.

  • Local and Zulu mission times.miz imports now convert DCS local time to Zulu using the map’s DCS offset. In Misc, choose local or Zulu display and override the UTC offset when needed. Existing kneeboards keep their current times; for a previously imported local clock, select DCS local and use the theater offset. Delayed flights retain their start delay, and late-activated flights can enter a planned activation time. Re-download your kneeboard and DTC after adjusting these settings.

  • Make your profile your own — change your account name, upload an avatar, or remove your avatar in Profile Settings. Your pilot callsign stays separate.

  • Updated Huey loadout weights — UH-1H empty weight and gun/rocket loads now follow DCS data. Cargo choices remain available, and mission-file radio presets map to the UHF radio.

  • Refreshed DCS loadouts — corrected F-4E cluster-bomb rack weights and added AGM-45B Shrike options for the F-4E and F-100D.

  • WWII aircraft are selectable — build kneeboards for the Mosquito, Spitfire, Bf 109, both Fw 190s, Mustang, Thunderbolt, I-16, and Corsair. Choose the matching variant for its DCS kneeboard folder and loadout options.

  • Clearer nighttime debriefs — brighter terrain and a dim blue-gray sky make ridges, valleys, and the horizon easier to see during night flights.

  • C-130J DTC includes every waypoint in the flight plan — DCS-DTC now builds one flight plan in waypoint-number order across all your planned routes. Keep separate routes on your kneeboards. Re-download your DTC to pick up the fix.

  • Keep interflight frequencies in sync — choose or edit a flight’s interflight frequency in COMMS or package coordination; both update together. Package edits also update the selected flight radio channel, and MIDS choices use the flight’s MIDS A or B channel. The flight-member AUX column is now called INTFLT by default and follows the same setting; you can rename it in the Template Builder.

  • Upcoming rides in student folders — see scheduled rides and sheets awaiting grading together, with direct links to each gradesheet.

  • Clear student and instructor views — instructors schedule, log, and sign off one lesson at a time. Students see their records, self-assessments, and feedback without instructor notes or grading controls. Staff can manually sign off other lessons separately.

  • Student-board debrief links now open independently of the student folder, without triggering a page hydration error.

  • Readable training ratings — long grade labels no longer overlap in Your rides, student records, or gradesheets. Compact cells show the grade number; hover to see the full label and explanation.

  • Move training modules between phases without rebuilding their lessons. The prerequisite editor also explains which lessons come too late to be selected.

  • Delegate to squadron Instructors — let instructors create courses, edit kneeboards, and sign currency for other pilots without making them admins. Individual courses still use their own instructing staff.

  • Training can award currency credit — link a course qualification or signed lesson ride to a currency item. Reopening the record removes its credit while preserving other flights and manual sign-offs. Currency items now support notes and clickable reference links.

  • Training debriefs are easier to find — upload an unplanned flight directly from the ride logger or /debrief/new, and browse recordings from new ATO flights using a lesson's template.

  • More room for training notes — students and instructors can expand any training note editor into a larger window, then return to the same draft.

  • Training notification bell — appears in the top bar when you have unread training updates. Open its menu to go straight to a gradesheet, refly, or individual feedback note. No push notifications.

  • Gradesheet signing checks now protect the saved record too. Incomplete grades or missing explanations stay on the sheet with a message instead of silently closing it.

  • CM Use auto-track records countermeasures — recorded chaff and flare releases now count toward currency. Use Reprocess on older missions in the Ops Log to update their credit.

  • Simple doghouses stay above route lines — switching from Full to Simple now keeps the heading and distance banners clear of the line beneath them.

  • Training certificates — qualified students and course staff can open a certificate from the student's folder and print it or save it as a PDF. A winged insignia, ivory paper, and a full-page landscape layout frame the squadron, course, pilot, and qualification. The preview matches the printed copy in either theme.

  • Open training reading where it's assigned — lesson reading titles now open their links and PDFs. Squadron documents open in a page viewer from both lessons and Materials.

  • Find everyone who flew a training ride — search the full roster by callsign or name, keep selections while filtering, and select everyone shown. Readiness stays visible beside each pilot, including instructors enrolled on the course.

  • Format training notes — use headings, bold, italic, lists, and links in lesson instructor notes, gradesheet feedback, continuity notes, and student remarks. Formatting carries through to the course, student folder, and gradesheet.

  • Mission DTC settings — configure in-game cartridges from the DTC tab for the Apache, Kiowa, F-14B(U), Viper and Hornet. Enable individual sections for a flight or package, or switch them off to use inherited defaults without losing your edits. Save and reuse presets for each section. Disabled sections show the selected pilot’s resolved squadron and personal defaults, including Kiowa laser codes and Apache performance limits. Laser and ROE now live inside DTC.

  • Delete leftover Theater Overlay symbols — legacy circle markers now appear in Drawings & Graphics so you can remove them, and the drawing count matches the list.

  • Training is available to everyone — open Training from the main navigation to access squadron courses. Course staff and student permissions still control editing, grading, and materials.

  • Campaign ground units keep their progress — regenerated missions carry surviving ground units to their last recorded positions and headings from confirmed debriefs. Positions edited in the supplied mission file are kept. Starting the next turn updates the campaign picture, including SAM sites and fog areas, from that turn’s mission file.

  • Per-pilot target waypoints for everyone — in a target-pinned waypoint’s Advanced Options, use Target handling to move the waypoint to each pilot’s first DPI or use DPIs as offset aimpoints on supported aircraft.

  • Concealed overlay units stay editable — hidden and fogged units remain in the overlay editor, and editing another unit keeps them intact. Campaign maps refresh after visibility changes are saved.

  • Fog of war follows shared maps and saved overlays — map previews conceal precise unit positions, published campaign turns keep their uncertainty areas, and overlay JSON files retain unit visibility when imported. Live SAM areas cover every member, while visible SAM sites keep their detailed layouts.

  • Fog of war for theater overlays — mark units Visible, Hidden, or Fog of war, individually or in bulk. Set visibility directly in the existing unit rows, with one shared selection for map and list actions. Visibility and grid changes autosave; drawings use their normal visibility controls. Fogged units appear in automatic MGRS areas with four MGRS-aligned grid levels that halve cell width: 100 km, 50 km, 25 km, or 12.5 km. Orange-red areas list expected unit types without counts. Click an area for details or add it to your graphics; in the overlay editor, choose Change visibility to select its fogged items for bulk changes. Hold Shift and click two corners on the map to box-select units, with a live box preview while moving the pointer. Overlay editors can reveal precise positions in their preview; designs, campaign maps, public maps and exports use the saved visibility.

  • Campaign mission uploads finish correctly — fixed uploads reporting an error after the .miz had already reached storage. If an earlier attempt failed, upload the file again from the campaign’s Theater tab to retain it.

  • Campaign targeting explains each step — add and validate targets in the campaign library, then nominate, rank and assign flights for each turn. Clearer list names, next-action guidance and links between folders and turns help you follow the process. Targets below the cut line are labeled unplanned; on-call means an assigned flight has no time on target.

  • Campaign mission files upload in the background — the setup window closes and opens your campaign as soon as its picture and units are saved. Keep the tab open while the mission file finishes uploading; its status appears above the campaign, with re-upload instructions if needed.

  • New kneeboards and imports follow the top-bar squadron — new kneeboards, packages and dropped debriefs use your selected squadron. Switching squadrons clears old draft templates and imported mission data. Training and bot registration use the same selection, and returning to Plan no longer jumps to another squadron’s last-opened kneeboard.

  • Campaigns follows the squadron in the top bar — the list, totals, new campaigns and theater-layer choices use your selected squadron. Switching squadrons from a campaign or turn opens the new squadron’s campaign list; direct links select the campaign’s squadron.

  • Arrange training lessons in your own order — drag mission objectives, tasks, and sub-tasks into order in the lesson editor. Edit objective codes, names, and descriptions there too; objective edits apply throughout the course.

  • The account menu stays the same across tabs — Profile Settings, DKS Pro, Take Tour, help, appearance and sign out are available everywhere. The extra Squadrons item is gone; use the Squadron tab for settings.

  • Package-flight auto-save does less background work while keeping your saved edits, sibling flights, and ATO cards up to date.

  • Shared planning uses less background processing while keeping the same update speed for other pilots' edits and presence indicators.

  • Color-code your preset points — theater, squadron, and package points now offer custom colors and normal or inverse labels. Use the Aa button beside a point, or select several points to style them together. CSV files and duplicated overlays keep your point colors.

  • Template briefings travel with your mission — applying a flight template, posting an ATO mission from a flight or package template, and duplicating a kneeboard now copy its saved briefing slides and whiteboards. Existing briefings are kept when applying a template.

  • Radio Glance appears on shared kneeboards — shared links now show the selected radios and presets, just like downloaded kneeboards.

  • Recovery tankers appear when importing a .miz — flights assigned the carrier Recovery Tanker task are included as support assets with their assigned altitude and speed.

  • The cockpit recorder does less work while you fly — display recording and head tracking use less processing and temporary memory, long flights do less upload bookkeeping, and uploads keep running during flight. Re-download and install the recorder to pick up the update.

  • Search members when assigning a debrief sortie — the Assign picker now searches names and callsigns, including squadron callsign overrides.

  • Ground elevations for theater and package points — click GND beside a point’s elevation to fill in the DCS terrain height and save it automatically.

  • 3D debrief lighting follows the recording’s sun — the sky, aircraft, terrain shadows and water reflections now agree. Terrain detail blends into view as you move, and weapon-camera turns stay consistent at different frame rates.

  • Campaign debriefs use only the recordings you attach — nearby flights stay suggestions, detached recordings stop contributing losses, and recordings already linked to another turn stay there.

  • Campaign assessment keeps your earlier work — saving BDA again preserves notes and recovery timing without spending the same munitions twice. Repeat sorties from coalition pilots also keep their flight match.

  • Campaign turn handoffs recover from failed attempts — retry an ATO posting after a failure, reuse regenerated mission files, and retry next-turn mission registration without creating another turn.

  • A campaign has one ATO now — the campaign tab is Turns, a turn page shows planning strips until it is published and then the squadron ATO posting itself, and the main ATO board is where seats are claimed (filter it to campaign ops).

  • Coalition pilots' sorties now match a campaign turn at debrief — a partner-squadron pilot seated on the ATO posting is matched to the flight by seat callsign when the recording can't resolve them to a member.

  • Clicking a campaign target in the list flies the map to it.

  • Import your squadron's agencies into a campaign — an Import from squadron button on the Agencies tab copies them in, skipping names already present.

  • The campaign's own targets layer can no longer be hidden or unlinked from the Theater picture rail.

  • Buttons, inline links and table headers now match across the app — every text action, link-style action and column heading uses the same shared controls, so like things look alike from the data tabs to the debrief.

  • Campaigns is in the top bar — it sits with Plan, ATO, Debrief and Squadron, and the training pages share the same section row as the other surfaces.

  • Switching squadron on the Plan tab opens a plan from that squadron — the one you last had open there on this machine, or its most recently edited plan.

  • Squadron settings is one page, not a list — the switcher picks the squadron, create-or-join is a dialog from the switcher, and duplicate, leave and delete sit at the bottom of General.

  • ATO, Debrief and Squadron are pages in the top bar now — each fills the window without the designs sidebar, has its own address you can share, and follows the squadron switcher.

  • The debrief board is a page with tabs — Debriefs, Calendar, Pilot stats, Currency and Aliases sit in a row under the bar instead of inside a pop-up.

  • Pick your squadron once, in the top bar — the switcher next to the DKS mark scopes the sidebar, the ATO, debriefs and new kneeboards to that squadron, and opening a design from another squadron switches to it.

  • Fields in the data tabs are one height and one tone — every input and select in the tabs is 28 px on a lifted field colour, rows are hairline-separated, and numbers line up.

  • One navigation bar on every page — ATO, Plan, Debrief, Squadron, Training, Campaigns and Tools sit in a slim bar that the tools, manual, campaigns and training pages share, so there is always a way back.

  • The app now reads in one type family — Barlow for text and fields, Barlow Condensed for tab and column labels, and a true monospace for coordinates, frequencies and cockpit editors, so numbers line up.

  • Campaign maps show only campaign targets — the Theater tab's picture editor no longer offers overlay Strike Targets inside a campaign, so the TARGETS tab's lists are the one place targets come from.

  • A mistaken target nomination can now be removed — a trash icon on the target lists and a Remove target action in the folder delete a candidate outright, and clicking the map now opens the nominate dialog pre-filled instead of creating a target on the spot.

  • Campaign maps can use the DCS-accurate basemap — a Basemap picker on every campaign map switches the whole campaign between satellite imagery and the DCS terrain tiles.

  • A campaign can now be deleted from its Settings tab — the confirmation lists exactly what goes (turns, targets, ORBAT, mission files, generated packages, ATO postings) and keeps any imported overlay that other designs or campaigns still use.

  • Publishing a campaign turn now posts it on the squadron ATO — the package appears as an ATO op with the usual sign-up link, seats are claimed there, and the turn page shows the posting inline.

  • A campaign debrief now proposes kills and battle damage from the recording — tick the ORBAT kills to accept, review each planned target's damage, confidence and reattack call, and complete the assessment when every target is covered.

  • Regenerate the next turn's mission from the one just flown — destroyed units come out, wrecks go in where they fell, and one click starts the next turn from the result.

  • The ATO board marks campaign ops — a Campaign · Turn chip on the card opens the turn, and a filter shows only campaign or non-campaign ops.

  • Campaign targets now move through the doctrinal lists — nominate from the ORBAT, the map catalog or coordinates onto the CTL, validate onto the JTL or RTL, then rank each turn's TNL into a JIPTL with a cut line and pair planned targets to flights on the MAAP.

  • A campaign now keeps its mission file and reads the order of battle from it — importing a .miz stores the file (up to 50 MB) and fills a new ORBAT view on the Theater tab where every unit can be marked destroyed, restored or removed.

  • The Apache and Kiowa laser-code table can now go on a kneeboard page — drop the new Laser Codes block in the template builder and it prints the slot table the Laser tab shows.

  • Sort the debrief scoreboard by any column — click Pilot, Aircraft, A/A, A/G, Deaths, TK or K/D; click again to flip the order.

  • Sort the Squadron Settings member list by any column — click Member, Role, Unit, Callsign, A/C # or Color.

  • Squadron Settings now says when it is still saving — a Saving… / Saved / Unsaved readout in the dialog header, so quick edits are not lost by closing too soon.

  • Cold War Germany now has the DCS-accurate map — the in-game terrain across the whole theater, with runway-level detail around every airfield.

  • Archive a student's training record — "Archive the record" on their folder keeps every gradesheet off the roster, survives them leaving the squadron, and restores in one click if they return.

  • Grade every objective on a gradesheet in one stroke — an "Every objective" row sets the same grade (or n/o) across the sheet, and an "Every task" tick checks off all mission tasks.

  • Duplicate a training course, swapping the airframe on the way — the copy carries the swap through the syllabus, every sortie line and the flight templates, ready to edit where the new type differs.

  • Add Flight can start from a flight template — pick one in the dialog and the new flight brings the template's settings, route, loadout, comms and overlays, as an ATO-tasked flight does.

  • Take a student off a course from their training folder — "Remove from course" deletes the enrollment and its gradesheets after a confirmation.

  • The course roster now leads with the students — the enrol and instructing-staff panels fold to one line, and a unit filter narrows both lists to one squadron.

  • The ROE and Laser tabs now take presets — save an ID matrix or an Other Units laser-code list once and pick it from the Preset menu on any design.

  • Training rides posted to the ATO board can name the server they'll fly on — pick a registered server and the debrief lands on the gradesheet by itself once the track is imported.

  • A gradesheet finds a debrief attached to its op by hand — upload the .acmi and attach it to the op's flight, and "Open the debrief" appears on the sheet and the instructor board.

  • Log a ride that already happened against a specific debrief — the panel offers the squadron's recent recordings instead of a text box.

  • Mark a student qualified when the syllabus is done — the folder offers it at 100 %, the board reads qualified, and the student's hub shows the rating.

  • "Open the flight plan" on a lesson now opens something — the flight the board built for your booked ride, or the syllabus template.

  • "Watch 00:18:26" on a gradesheet opens the debrief at that second.

  • Live overlays can now be fed by your squadron's DCSServerBot — airfield ownership, the mission's drawings and bullseyes stream into the overlay, and a right-click on any airfield shows its live warehouse stock.

  • The cockpit readout now shows master arm in SIM/TRAIN as its own amber state — a training-armed switch no longer reads as OFF (recorder 0.3.0; F-16C, F-14B(U) and A-10C II).

  • F-14B(U) debriefs read richer — the AWG-9's active mode shows as one chip instead of raw lamp numbers, both trigger stages light as presses, and the LANTIRN overlay text appears under MFD text.

  • Jettisoned stores now show their real names in the debrief release list — no more UNKNOWN entries when dumping tanks or unfired missiles (recorder 0.3.0).

  • The F-16 radar scan volume now points where the jet was really looking for nearly the whole flight — and no longer flashes wrong widths while the pilot slews the scan.

  • The cockpit readout now shows what the jet is actually carrying — a Stores section that follows every release, jettison and rearm (recorder 0.3.0).

  • The cockpit recorder is lighter on the A-10C II and F-16C, and its log now records what it costs your frames — send that line with a framerate report.

  • The F-4E Phantom now has a cockpit recorder adapter — master arm, Pave Spike laser arm, autopilot, the WSO's radar panel knobs, armament selectors and the ARC-164 radio.

Bug Fixes

  • Airfields now sit on their runways — Bagram and other fields were placed up to 2 nm off the field on the map and in HOMEPLATE/DIVERT coordinates.

  • Map airfield popups show ATC frequencies to the channel — 325.75 no longer rounds to 325.8.

  • SA-10 Clam Shell now stands on its full-height mast in 3D debriefs — it was rendering shorter than the Flap Lid instead of well above it.

  • Slider thumbs are amber in every browser — Firefox no longer draws them as a dark grey knob that looked black in the debrief.

  • Less clutter on TPC charts — small building clusters no longer pepper rural areas with urban shading; larger towns and cities remain marked.

  • Clearer TPC charts around power lines and coastlines — transmission pylons no longer crowd the chart with tower symbols, and offshore structures no longer appear as land towers. Maximum elevation figures still account for tall structures.

  • A training course's map, printed syllabus and prerequisite choices now follow the Build order — moving a module or phase moves its lessons everywhere, so an earlier lesson can always be required by a later one.

  • Drag waypoints beyond the visible list — holding a waypoint near the top or bottom edge now scrolls the Waypoints pane, so you can reorder longer flight plans without dropping and starting again.

  • Campaign munition stocks list individual weapons — multi-weapon racks such as GBU-12 ×2 and GBU-12 ×4 no longer appear as separate choices in Add munition.

  • Single AGM-154C fuel estimates no longer jump far above the dual-rack loadout.

  • Profile settings remember your aircraft in this browser, and clearing your callsign or aircraft number now saves correctly.

  • Find training document removal from a lesson — use Manage course materials below the reading controls to rename or remove course documents.

  • Threat maps stay clear of doghouses by default, including kneeboards that have never had their map layers customized. You can still enable them in the threat-map layers.

  • Imported DCS arrows point the right way — rotated arrows retain their direction when imported from a .miz file. Re-import existing drawings to pick up the correction.

  • Debrief airspeed and G now hold steady and true — CAS, TAS, Mach and G no longer wander tens of knots away through a turn and snap back, so telemetry charts and readouts match what you flew, right through the merge.

  • Smoother 3D camera movement — fixed terrain loading stalls when moving around the map, including Nevada.

  • Package default plans no longer leave a radio blank — a radio whose band plan is empty now takes the next plan it can tune, so an F-14 with only UHF and V/UHF plans authored gets both filled.

  • ATO postings grow with your crew — adding a pilot to a posted flight on the Flight Members tab now adds their jet to the board, with the new ship's STN, laser code, Mode 3 and callsign filled in.

  • Drag .miz files into Update MIZ without an ACMI prompt — removed the builder’s page-wide ACMI drop shortcut. Open Debrief to drag in a recording.

  • Cancel prompts reliably with the keyboard — quickly moving to Cancel and pressing Enter no longer risks confirming the prompt instead.

  • Copy kneeboards between squadrons safely — the copied kneeboard stays open in its destination squadron without the app getting stuck switching back and forth.

  • All-theater agencies appear in packages — agencies set to All are available on every map, including in the interflight picker.

  • Start fresh after deleting a kneeboard — deleting the open kneeboard now opens another in your squadron or shows a clear empty planner. New Kneeboard works from there without getting stuck reloading.

  • Threat rings use DCS default ranges — debrief rings and defaults for newly added threats now follow DCS threat ranges, including a 27 NM SA-11 ring. Existing saved ring sizes stay as entered.

  • A .miz whose drawings were written by third-party tooling now imports instead of failing with "Failed to process MIZ file" — and when an import does fail, the message now says why.

  • OpFor custom bounds now trim the Threat Summary too — a threat outside the rectangle you drew no longer appears in the kneeboard table while the map leaves it off-frame.

  • Formation standards set for one airframe now show up everywhere in that airframe's debriefs — the position names and the 3D envelope follow the lead's airframe, as the classification already did.

  • A formation position zeroed out in the squadron standard now stays out of debriefs — it is no longer offered in the envelope picker or drawn, and the standards editor marks it hidden.

  • Shared /view kneeboards now show a dual-band agency's VHF frequency in the VHF column — an agency with both a UHF and a VHF entry used to render its UHF frequency in both, and duplicating a squadron now keeps every agency's band frequencies.

  • Long references on gradesheet mission tasks no longer squash the task name into a stack of words — the reference truncates and shows in full on hover.

  • A flight added to an existing package now uses the package's template — it used to fall back to the built-in pack when the squadron's default was a custom template.

  • A flight added to a posted op from the ATO board now gets the squadron's map style and doghouse defaults — it used to start on stock styles.

  • An A-6E flying as a tanker now imports from the .miz as an A-6E — it used to land in Support Assets relabelled as a KC-135, and any other uncatalogued tanker or AWACS type now keeps its real name too.

  • A lesson no longer stays locked behind a lesson that was deleted — removing a module or phase used to leave "Finish cmt… first" on later lessons; affected syllabi have been repaired.

  • The "Worth a look" panel is gone from the Objectives tab — findings still show on their row, so a deliberate floor no longer sits under a permanent warning.

  • The cockpit readout shows the laser code even when the TGP page was never up — an F-16 sortie that armed the laser without displaying the pod now gets its TGP row.

  • Captive training rounds and other unbraced stores now show their names in the cockpit readout — a CATM-9M no longer appears as a raw store id.

  • Cockpit readouts recorded before 28 August now line up with the debrief timeline — a handful of tracks had sat exactly 30 minutes off; they have been re-placed.

  • Route timing now allows for the climb — a leg that climbs or descends is timed as a climb at the planned angle then level cruise, so ETAs off the deck and required speeds stop assuming you were already at altitude; set the angles from the new Profile control on the Waypoints tab.

  • Students can log their own ride again — "Log the ride" on a lesson page used to refuse silently; it now opens the sheet, and says so if it can't.

  • Training ops post with the right airframe — the flight built from a lesson's template kept its loadout and crew seats instead of dropping them.

  • The instructor takes seat 1 of a posted training ride — students fill the seats behind, and anyone the op couldn't seat is named in the confirmation.

  • A re-fly booked through the ATO board keeps its X — INST-1X no longer turns back into INST-1 when posted.

  • Booked rides show the date and time you picked — an evening booking no longer read as the next day.

  • A mistyped laser code no longer produces a DTC file that crashes DCS-DTC on load — the F-16C and F/A-18C exports leave the code at its default when it isn't a valid four-digit code.

  • The Objectives tab no longer warns when a skill is practiced or demonstrated before it's introduced — courses that don't follow the strict introduce → practice → demonstrate order stay warning-free.

  • Overhead breaks are detected again for squadrons with strict pattern standards — a tightened grading band no longer leaves the Overhead Breaks tab empty.

August 2026

Features

  • Completed lessons no longer sit on the instructor board as sheets to grade — sheets signed under an older version clear out too.
  • A re-fly's gradesheet now briefs the grader — it says what the last ride on that lesson graded, flags each objective that fell short, and marks the tasks already done.
  • Training now has a Learning tab — your courses, the next ride and your gradesheets in one place, with Overview · Learning · Instructing · Library as the four fixed sections.
  • Instructing screens no longer mix in your own progress — staff see a course as its runners, and a "View as a student" switch shows exactly what a student sees.
  • Rename a course and edit its details after creation — title, identifier, kind, objective, airframes, day budget and the loadout-config table live under Course settings on the Build view.
  • Mission tasks now nest four levels deep — break a task into sub-tasks, sub-sub-tasks and one layer more, and ticking a parent still credits the whole family.
  • The lesson editor's ride card explains itself — every field has a hint, the aircraft is picked as ships × airframe, the config comes from the course's table, and choosing a flight template fills the aircraft in.
  • The instructor board reads as a table — aligned columns under real headings, with a far more compact header.
  • Scrollbars now follow the app theme — no more white scrollbars glaring out of a dark page, in the main window and every scrolling panel.
  • Shared kneeboard links refresh far more efficiently — open viewers and in-game kneeboards now sip data between edits, with changes still appearing within seconds.
  • Objective codes now write themselves — the code field fills in from the name as you type ("Offensive BFM" becomes BFM-O), and stays yours the moment you edit it.
  • Delete a mistakenly logged training ride — a trash button on the student's record removes the sheet, grades and notes included.
  • Fix a gradesheet's record — instructing staff can correct the date flown and the instructor of record, and reopen a closed sheet to re-grade and sign again.
  • Ticking a task that has sub-tasks now ticks them all — one stroke credits or clears the whole family on the gradesheet.
  • Redundant prerequisites grey out in the lesson editor — anything already required through a required lesson's own chain shows as "required via …" instead of asking again.
  • More room to write before signing a ride — bigger note fields, plus a dedicated "For the student" note that lands in their training folder.
  • Delete a training course — the bottom of the course's Build view now has the option, guarded by typing the course code back.
  • Connect your DCSServerBot once and share it across servers — registration now links the bot to your squadron, and each server picks which of the bot's DCS instances it is from a list.
  • Enter the carrier once on the package — the Carrier block now appears on a package's MISC tab whatever its default aircraft, and fills in for every flight that doesn't set its own.
  • Your answer on an ATO posting shows instantly — "I'm in" updates the attendance counts the moment you press it.
  • Add a standalone flight to a posted op — the board's Add flight button now asks where the flight goes and works on solitary-only postings too.
  • Remove a flight from a posted op — expand the flight on the board card and remove it, seats and all.
  • Mission numbers are now unique across the whole ATO — no more two flights answering to 242SE01 on the same night.
  • Uploaded cover art is kept for reuse — the cover picker offers your squadron's last ten uploads alongside the stock shots.
  • Post several packages and standalone flights as one ATO op — the redesigned posting dialog builds the whole night's flying under a single board entry.
  • Set the Apache's WPN page from your DTC settings — Hellfire missile channels, priority/alternate selection, and each crewstation's gun, rocket, range and ACQ defaults load with the in-game cartridge, as a squadron standard or your own.
  • Write the Apache's MPS text messages — keep the canned datalink messages or compose your own titles and lines, loaded into all ten COM MSG-SEND slots.
  • Reorder the Apache's RLWR threat table — drag threats into your squadron's priority order and untick the ones the APR-39 should ignore.
  • Set the Tomcat's TIS datalink callsigns from your DTC settings — the cartridge now comes up on the mission callsign with wingmen auto-added, and a new TIS tab lets a squadron or a pilot change that and add standing send-to callsigns.
  • Load laser codes for units outside your flight — a new Laser tab shows the Apache's whole 16-slot table and takes the codes of scouts, JTACs or anyone else lasing for you.
  • The Kiowa gets the Laser tab too — its eight codes now take the codes of anyone outside the flight, and show which pilot's squadron code fills each slot you leave alone.
  • Laser codes below 1511 are now flagged — DCS's ground crew can't dial a second digit under 5, so a code you can't rearm onto says so as you type it.
  • Set which channel each Apache radio comes up on — mark it on the comm plan, or mark a push set as the one the flight starts on, and the cartridge loads it as the jet's initial preset.
  • Give a graphic a SHORT label — the Apache tags each phase line on the TSD with it, so lines stop coming up under the same name.
  • Switch the cockpit overlays from the Layers menu — the head-look cone, radar scan volume and targeting pod spot each cycle off / selected jet / everyone from one place, without selecting anybody first, and start off.
  • Draw a formation envelope off any aircraft in the debrief — right-click a wingman, not just the flight lead, to see the region a position should be held from.
  • Design Settings now warns when a map has every layer switched off — no more mystery blank mission maps on exports and published kneeboards.
  • Drag targets into priority order on the Targets tab — the card sequence and the Apache's T-slot numbering follow your order.
  • Type target coordinates in MGRS — the Targets tab's aimpoint fields now follow your Target Format setting, grid references included.
  • OpFor threats now load into the Apache's DTC — every visible threat becomes a TSD target point with its proper air-defense symbol and threat ring, no extra data entry.
  • Apache target points now carry real TSD threat symbols — an aimpoint placed on an SA-8 loads as the SA-8 symbol with its threat ring, with a per-aimpoint picker on the Targets tab for everything else.
  • Apache and Kiowa DPI cards now show the cockpit's own target slot — T01-style numbers that match the jet's target store instead of steerpoints the aircraft doesn't have.
  • The 3D debrief ground no longer shimmers while the camera moves at low altitude — imagery now stays locked in place as detail streams in.
  • Set the Apache's chaff and flare programs from your DTC settings — pick the burst, salvo, RLWR voice and ASE autopage options as a squadron standard or your own, and they load with the in-game cartridge.
  • Drag graphics into the order you want them — theater and package graphics reorder right alongside your own, and when a jet's DTC has limited slots the graphics at the top go in first.
  • Leave the takeoff time empty and your first fixed ETA works it out for you — set the time you want to arrive at any waypoint and the takeoff time calculates back at your planned airspeed.
  • Hold at a waypoint by typing a delay straight into the PUSH column+30:00 holds thirty minutes, and every later time adjusts automatically.
  • Battlefield graphics now load onto the Apache's TSD as their real types — boundary lines, FEBA, FLET, FLOT, FSCL, LD and phase lines draw in their own colors, with new FEBA, FLET, LD, PFZ and NFZ choices in the Graphics tab.
  • Plan your Viper's ROE ID matrix from a new ROE tab — assign FRIEND / UNKNOWN / HOSTILE per aircraft type at the package level (with per-flight overrides) and it loads onto the jet's DTE ROE page with the in-game cartridge.
  • The AV-8B now gets a DCS-DTC cartridge — Harrier flights export their waypoints as a .dtc preset the DCS-DTC tool loads and types into the jet.
  • Right-click a route line to drop a timing mark — a draggable time stamp that slides along your flight path, showing minutes from leg start or the running total next to the landmark you'll check it against.
  • Doghouse total time now restarts at your Entry Point — legs after the EP read time-since-EP, matching your low-level chronometer.
  • Link your DCSServerBot to a squadron server — run @dcssb add-dks in your bot's Discord and follow the link to connect it to DKS (needs a DCSServerBot release with DKS support).
  • Change a posted flight's jet count from the ATO edit dialog — grow or shrink a flight after posting, with seats and generated series following automatically.
  • The Discord bot can keep a persistent calendar of upcoming flights — one always-current message with dates, times and a signup link per op, turned on per squadron in Settings → Discord.
  • ATO sign-ups can now carry a short note — tell the planners what you'd fly or bring, from the board or straight from the Discord announcement.
  • Recolor your Viper's MFD symbology from your DTC settings — pick a color for each HSD, FCR, and datalink symbol on a live sample MFD, set a squadron standard or your own scheme, and it loads in the jet with your DTC cartridge (needs the DCS open beta).
  • The Apache's DCS-native DTC cartridge now carries your routes — each planned route loads into its TSD slot in flying order, control measures included, with the right TSD symbol on every point.
  • Building a pre-plan out into an op now posts a fresh Discord announcement — the save-the-date message is removed and the full op posting appears at the bottom of the channel with everyone's RSVPs intact.
  • Draw on your kneeboard inside OpenKneeboard — the web dashboard view now takes graphics-tablet doodles on every page, just like PDF tabs (needs OpenKneeboard v1.9+).
  • Formation positions can now reach out to 20 NM — a wingman flying wide of the briefed spread shows as Stripped in the debrief instead of dropping out of the flight.
  • Set your squadron's own overhead-break standards — tune the pattern per airframe or across the board, and debriefs re-grade against your numbers, including ones already flown.
  • Define the formation positions your squadron actually briefs — set each one's spacing and angles, rename them to your own words, and vary them by airframe.
  • Fingertip now measures 100 ft rather than 65 — two ship widths is wingtip to wingtip, and the debrief measures centre to centre.
  • Choose what your doghouses show and in what order — waypoint name, true heading and total elapsed time join the existing rows, set as a squadron standard or per kneeboard.
  • Real 1:500,000 Tactical Pilotage Charts are now a map style on Syria — pick "TPC Chart (1:500k)" for the scanned paper chart look, currently covering the northern half of the theater.
  • The T-45C Goshawk is now a supported airframe. Pick the VNAO Goshawk when building a kneeboard or importing a .miz — practice stores, both radios and their 30 presets, and takeoff data included.
  • Post an ATO op straight from a package template — mark a package as a template, then post it with the flights you're not flying switched off and every seat open for sign-ups.
  • What-if missiles now stop at the intercept instead of trailing the target — the shot ends where it hits or misses, rather than flying along beside the jet.
  • What-if Phoenix shots now track the game's flight path far more closely — the AIM-54C's simulated flyout no longer runs hot and falls short at long range.
  • Long-range what-if shots now loft like the game's missiles do — Phoenix and AMRAAM flyouts climb for the range they have to cover instead of flying flat.
  • Squadron patches now scroll across the sign-in page — the virtual groups flying with DKS, with new patches welcome in our Discord.
  • The Apache can carry a DCS-native DTC cartridge — your waypoints, control measures, targets, map graphics, comms and laser codes export in the format the in-game DTC browser loads, once your squadron has the beta enabled.
  • See your radar's scan volume in the debrief — the Viper's search width and bar count now draw as a wedge on your jet in the replay, pointed where the antenna actually looked when your HMCS was on.
  • Add your own cockpit to the squadron debrief — set up the cockpit recorder from Debrief → Cockpit Recorder (or drop your local Tacview file on a debrief) and your head-look, stick and throttle, fuel, locks, switches, radios and MFD readouts appear on your jet in the replay.
  • Pre-plan postings can now ask what you'd fly — list the airframes on the pre-plan and pilots pick the ones they're up for, optionally as a condition of signing up.
  • Record enemy air threats in a dedicated Enemy Air Order of Battle table — enter aircraft, mode, MAR, bullseye location, and remarks on the OPFOR tab, and add the table to any kneeboard page from the Template Builder.
  • What-if missile shots now fly a physics model tuned to DCS's own weapon tables — simulated missiles end up much closer to where the game's missile ended up, on every weapon.
  • What-if AIM-9X shots fired well off the nose now make the turn — high off-boresight launches chase the target down instead of sailing wide.
  • Debriefs with a briefed design now show only the briefed flights — auto-detected groupings of AI aircraft no longer clutter the flight picker.
  • Adjust a what-if missile's launch before firing it — the sliders button beside each missile in the menu pauses playback and lets you set loft angle, launch heading, and launch speed, starting from the jet's actual state.
  • Simulated gun bursts and what-if missile shots now show up for everyone watching a shared debrief — viewers on a live share and training-aid playback see the presenter's rounds, hits, missile flyout, and verdict.
  • The debrief Scoreboard now shows air-to-air and air-to-ground kills in separate A/A and A/G columns, for coalition totals and every pilot row.
  • Fire a simulated missile between any two aircraft in a debrief — pick from eleven trained missile types, and a realistic shot flies out against the target's actual maneuvers with a kill, likely-kill, or defeated verdict at closest approach.
  • The Caucasus map is back in DCS Accurate v2 — real in-game imagery across the whole theater, sharpest over the cities and airfields you actually fly.
  • Live debriefs are now team-interactive — anyone can flag the moment they're looking at with a short note into a shared discussion queue, viewers can request the presenter role, and the presenter can hand off control and always take it back.
  • The debrief timeline now shows each briefed pilot's mission phases — startup, taxi, transit, commit, engagement, tanking, holding, egress, landing, and recovery draw as a colored band above the scrubber, and clicking a phase jumps the replay to it.
  • Debriefs attached to a design now form flights from the brief — pilots on the crew card group under their briefed flight with the briefed lead, no manual flight fixing needed.
  • Debrief FPV now sits at the pilot's actual head position and carries an F-14-style canopy reference band — a bright stripe from straight up back over your shoulder, with thinner side and belly lines, keeps you oriented through a BFM fight.
  • Hold T to fire simulated guns from any aircraft in a debrief — realistic tracer rounds stream at that gun's real fire rate in 2D and 3D, and rounds that would have connected flash the target and tally a hit count.
  • Uncompressed Tacview recordings up to 300MB now upload — .txt.acmi files are zipped in your browser before upload, so only already-compressed files still face the 100MB limit.
  • Briefing routes now fly through control measures — the route line, the markers, and the aircraft preview all follow battle positions and control points instead of stopping at the last waypoint.
  • The briefing route preview now starts at the takeoff location, not the first waypoint.
  • Debrief planned routes now follow the actual route — control-measure legs draw, and the line bridges around None waypoints instead of breaking.
  • Group your roster into sub-units and the whole app follows — assign pilots to squadrons within the wing, filter the currency board, stats, and ATO by unit, and ATO flights tag their unit automatically from the airframe so Discord pings just the pilots the op is for.
  • Switch the ATO board to Slim mode and every op is one compact row — cover art shows through behind the summary bar instead of taking its own banner.
  • Renumbering a control measure now works downward as well as upward — giving it a number another point holds swaps the two.
  • The Formation tab now grades your tac turns, rejoins, shackles, and the lead's pulls — every maneuver appears as a graded event that tells a wingman whether they turned early or late and jumps the replay to the moment.
  • The Realview LSO cam now always shows the live picture — scrub back through history and the deck cam keeps watching approaches as they happen; the Live positions checkbox is gone.
  • Realview's 3D view now uses the DCS-accurate terrain where the theater has it — the same high-fidelity in-game imagery the debrief viewer shows.
  • Debriefs now show a Formation tab naming each wingman's position through the sortie — fingertip through sensor line abreast.
  • Fix a flight the debrief read wrong — set the lead, change who's in it, build one by hand, or rename it.
  • Right-click a flight lead to draw a formation's acceptable region in the 3D view — stack up as many positions as you want to compare.
  • Carrier traps now auto-detect on the Currency Board — a debrief upload renews Day Trap and Night Trap from the recovery it sees aboard the boat.
  • Tag debriefs as Training or Operations and filter Pilot Stats by either — practice hops no longer skew career numbers.
  • Reorder the rows of the Radio Condensed Glance in the template builder — the kneeboard prints them in your order.
  • Member dropdowns now sort by callsign — pilot pickers, rosters, and the currency board read in callsign order instead of account-name order.
  • Editing a flight's mission type in the planner now updates the ATO board — the card follows the Misc tab like every other field.
  • Shift+drag now snaps to the corners of imported theater drawings — waypoints, graphics vertices, and everything else can latch onto a drawn boundary's vertices, not just its dots.
  • Published kneeboards now freeze live-overlay content at publish time — the live server picture on a shared link stays as it was when you published, until you publish again; regular overlays keep updating as your squadron edits them.
  • Installing a kneeboard can now set your DCS multiplayer name — turn it on in your profile and you show up as VPR 11 | Juicebox, shortened from the flight callsign you were assigned.
  • Pre-plan an ATO date before the op is planned — post just a date, cover, and description, collect coming/maybe/can't RSVPs, and build the flights in later without losing a single answer.
  • Route map pages now zoom to their own route — a short route no longer gets squashed to the corner by a longer one, and each route card can carry its own drawn Map Bounds.
  • Computed airspeeds no longer collapse to nonsense when a push time tightens the timing on a route with turn modes — a turn too big for its leg now falls back to the straight line.
  • A half-typed push or ETA time no longer commits and scrambles the flight plan's computed speeds — abandoned edits revert, and an impossible push time is flagged red and ignored.
  • Assign a MIDS voice channel as a flight's interflight on the package comms page — pick MIDS, enter the channel, and the package sheet shows "MIDS 1" instead of a frequency.
  • See who's planning with you — squadron-mates editing the same design appear in the editor header, with a dot on the tab they're working.
  • Dark mode has a new deeper, more neutral look — the blue-gray surfaces give way to near-neutral darks across the whole app.
  • The planning tabs now sit over a faint chart of the Lake Mead range — it holds still while the form scrolls past.
  • ATO cards now carry their server color only as the stripe on the left edge — the event bar itself stays neutral.
  • Strike target (DPI) maps now always use the DCS-accurate map when the theater has one — in-game terrain at target scale, whatever map style the design uses.
  • Marianas terrain looks four times sharper from altitude in the 3D view — the base imagery now spends its whole budget on the islands instead of open ocean.
  • The F-14 loadout picker now enforces the Tomcat's TARPS, ALQ-167, and chaff-adapter tunnel lockouts — picking a store unloads anything DCS won't accept with it, just like the mission editor.
  • Debrief playback stays smooth with many aircraft on screen — long trails no longer drag the frame rate down in big multiplayer replays.
  • Large Tacview files import several times faster, including recordings from servers that encrypt their telemetry.
  • Lardoon auto-debrief now works with real Lardoon servers, including plain http:// ones — no TLS reverse proxy needed.
  • ATO events flown on a server with a Lardoon replay index now get their debrief automatically — the Tacview imports itself after the mission ends, even when the event runs long, and the Discord post gains a View debrief link.
  • Custom servers can list and import Tacview recordings through a Lardoon URL — set it in Squadron Settings → Servers alongside Olympus and Realview.
  • ATO Discord posts now link the published kneeboards — the link appears when you publish the op's package and disappears when you unpublish it.
  • Add custom items below the default loadout stations — name the station and the load yourself, made for helo cargo, pax, and sling loads.
  • See your jet's lateral balance while you build a loadout — a gauge under the 3D loadout picker shows CoG and drag markers swinging toward the heavier, draggier wing.
  • Multi-carry racks now show x2 or x3 on the loadout picker, so a triple ejector reads at a glance.
  • Squadron Settings now opens for every member — read-only below admin, and pages no longer hang for seconds when something isn't yours to see.
  • Save the package Default Plans as presets — the same save and recall controls as flight comm plans, shared across your squadron.
  • Set your squadron's default bullseye look once in Squadron Settings — spokes, rings, weight, color, and opacity carry into every new package, still adjustable per package.
  • Set squadron-wide defaults for map symbol style, doghouse style, and route tick marks — new kneeboards start on your squadron's styles, still changeable per design.
  • The squadron Branding settings tab is now called General — same settings, new home for squadron-wide defaults.
  • Customize your doghouses from Design Settings — pick which rows show, the color, transparency, size, and font weight, on the editor map and every exported map alike.
  • Doghouses now follow your route color in simple route mode, matching what advanced mode always did.
  • Waypoint labels print in a deeper red so they stay readable over light terrain.
  • Frame each strike target's DPI map yourself — draw a custom zone on the map from the Strike Targets panel, and clear it to go back to automatic framing.
  • Enter code words and ATIS once on the package Misc tab — they fill every flight's MDC automatically, unless a flight enters its own.
  • The 3D view now shows the camera's own coordinates and altitude — MSL and AGL in the corner readout, for eyeballing helicopter battle positions.
  • Trade the F-14B(U) route plot line for a fourth graphic — turn off the new pinned "Route Line" row at the top of the Graphics tab and the cartridge keeps all four plot lines for your drawings.
  • The 3D map keeps its sharpest terrain when you fly in close — the highest detail level no longer drops out as you approach the ground.
  • DCS-accurate maps stay DCS-accurate when you zoom in — no more satellite patches appearing over the terrain, on the map, in exports, and in 3D.
  • Marianas now has the DCS-accurate map — the in-game terrain everywhere, with runway-level detail over every island in the chain.
  • Kola now has the DCS-accurate map — the in-game terrain right out to the theater edge, on every map and in 3D.
  • Coalition flights now show your own squadron's presets too — grouped by squadron in the preset picker, and presets you save there stay your squadron's.
  • The currency board now reads as a real qualification board — currencies down the side, grouped into skill groups you name, pilots across the top, whole cells colored by status.
  • Add a ready-made weapons board for your airframe — 19 jets and helos, each weapon family staying current automatically whenever a debrief sees you employ one.
  • Tactics checklists for BVR, BFM, ACM, SEAD, DEAD, and CAS — in-depth sign-off cards for each discipline, one click from Manage Board.
  • Change warning and expiry days right in the item list, no edit dialog needed.
  • Currency items can now be edited in place — name, skill group, thresholds, and auto-detection, from the pencil in Manage Board.
  • Track one-time qualifications alongside recency currencies — sign-offs never expire, show who signed them and when, and a mistaken one can be revoked.
  • Build a currency board in one click from six ready-made boards: flight currency, carrier ops, RAP-style multirole, rotary wing, a qualification ladder, and per-weapon quals.
  • Filter the currency board to one pilot with the new picker in its header.
  • Re-uploading an ACMI your squadron already has now opens the existing debrief, so the same flight never counts twice in anyone's stats.
  • Admins can clean out old duplicate debriefs with Find Duplicates in the Ops Log, which keeps the original and fixes affected pilots' stats.
  • Pilot stats now read as proper bordered tables, on the leaderboard and in every per-pilot breakdown.
  • The F-14B(U) cartridge now loads your TIS callsigns — each pilot gets their own tactical callsign with the rest of the flight in the send-to list.
  • Name the F-14B(U) DTC cartridge yourself with the new field on the Misc tab, instead of showing the design name in the jet.
  • Star each channel's primary frequency on the Apache comm plan — pick UHF, VHF, FM1, FM2, or HF per channel, and the starred cell prints highlighted on the comm card.
  • RIOs, WSOs, CPGs and copilots can sign up for their own seat, shown under the pilot they're crewing with on the board and in Discord.
  • ATO announcements now read as three columns, with each flight, role and answer in its own cell instead of one long list.
  • See who's attending without a seat, who's a maybe and who's out, listed by name on the Discord announcement.
  • Add your squadron's own sign-up roles — Game Master, AIC/ABM, CATCC — in Squadron Settings → Discord, and pick which ones each posting offers.
  • Decide how your squadron signs up. Turn "Maybe" off, hand seat assignment to your planners, or require a seat before anyone counts as in.
  • The OH-58D cartridge now carries all three routes, including any control measures you routed, instead of collapsing everything into one.
  • Update MIZ now sets your assigned laser codes on GBU-10/12/16/24, so nobody has to copy them into the Mission Editor by hand.
  • Copy another flight's loadout with the new "Copy from flight…" button on the Loadout tab, available between same-airframe flights in a package.
  • Your takeoff time now prints in the Flight Plan header, on every template pack, as soon as a takeoff time is set.
  • The 3D view now right-clicks like the 2D map — waypoints, threats, targets, ground units, assets, airfields, and open ground all get the same menus and the same actions, plus "View from here".
  • Measure distances in the 3D view with Alt+click, multi-leg and terrain-following, with the running distance, bearing, and cursor coordinates in the corner readout.
  • See everything that loads into your jet on the Waypoints tab — collapsible DEST, threat, graphics, and target point sections with slot numbers and capacity meters that match the cartridge exactly (early access).
  • The range plan lives in one place on every airframe — a points section on the Waypoints tab, retiring the separate Range Plan tab everywhere.
  • Package masters author the shared range plan in a new Additional Points section, with Link All right in its header.
  • Package flights switch between the package range plan and their own with the Package/Custom toggle in the section header.
  • Range points now show one number everywhere — the kneeboard table, the range map, the planning map, and every DTC all display the same jet slot (DEST 81+ on the Viper), derived from row order so a shared package range plan works across mixed airframes.
  • Hide a shared range point for just your flight with the eye on an inherited plan, without forking the package's range plan.
  • Curate your own threat points — switch the new THREAT POINTS section to manual and pick exactly what loads, straight from the map's right-click menu.
  • Squadron documents now list alphabetically in Squadron Settings and the plate selector, so a naming convention keeps them organized.
  • Type AGL altitudes anywhere and they mean it everywhere500AGL, 500 A, and friends now display as "500 AGL" on kneeboards and convert correctly in every DTC and export, on every airframe.
  • Route lines stay visible over terrain in the 3D view, riding over the ridges they cross instead of vanishing into them.
  • AGL legs hug the terrain in the 3D view. A leg planned at 500 ft AGL now follows the ground at that height instead of a straight line buried in the next ridge, and its waypoints sit at 500 ft over the terrain under them.
  • Import weather straight from a .miz with the new button in the weather dialog.
  • Narrow the Debriefs list to one kneeboard. Pick it from the new filter above the list — only kneeboards you've actually flown are offered, each with how many debriefs it has and when you last flew it.
  • Coalition ops now announce in every partner squadron's Discord channel, and squadrons sharing a channel only get one post.
  • Save an ATO posting as a draft. It stays on your squadron's board for your editors to finish, takes no sign-ups and announces nowhere until you hit Publish.
  • Connect a Discord server without signing in with Discord. Email accounts can verify they run the server with a one-time check that never links a Discord account to their DKS login.
  • The ATO announcement now shows who has which slot, listing every seat on smaller ops and just the taken ones on big packages.
  • ATO ops are color-coded by server, so every op on the same server carries the same accent on the board.
  • The ATO server field is now a picker listing your squadron's registered servers, with any other name still typeable.

Fixes

  • Clearer Hornet cockpit recordings — debrief now groups the UFC scratchpad, option cues and radio channels into a compact readout, including on older recordings. Long store names wrap, and extra braces are hidden. Re-download and install the recorder to keep populated UFC pages from being cut short on future flights.

  • Smoother camera rotation in 3D Debrief — turning the camera does less work to update the compass, keeping the view more responsive.

  • Faster roads in 3D Debrief — roads appear progressively as you explore, nearby roads stay ready when you pan back, and moving the camera does less work to keep roads following the terrain.

  • Viewsheds in detailed terrain — fixed incorrect terrain heights that could distort visibility results, including on Marianas.

  • Clearer coastlines in 3D Debrief — scenery now focuses on human-made structures and props. Removed blocky reefs, cliffs, rocks, and other natural objects from Marianas and South Atlantic, including the slabs around Turtle Rock, west of Andersen, and at the tip of the Orote Peninsula.

  • Automatic timing after .miz import — waypoint times of 00:00:00 are now left blank so they can calculate from your flight plan speeds and timing. Re-import the route to pick up this fix.

  • A-10C loadout details — the single AGM-65H now shows its full variant name. APKWS HE and MPP have a laser-code setting under FZ, and the code carries into your Lua loadout.

  • Squadron copies keep your kneeboard organization — duplicating a squadron now preserves folder names and the template status of both standalone kneeboards and packages.

  • Terrain colors follow the mountains while satellite imagery loads — sharper terrain detail brings matching colors, and available imagery appears sooner.

  • DCSServerBot connections no longer fail with "token is not yet valid" — a bot host whose clock runs slightly behind used to reject every DKS request.

  • Identical SAM sites imported from a miz now each show their own vehicles when zoomed in — several same-type sites used to all display the first site's launchers and radars.

  • Apache DTCs now load on the South Atlantic map — cartridges for maps whose internal name differs from the shown one were unreadable in-game.

  • Each Apache now squawks its own Mode 3 — every aircraft's cartridge carries that crew row's code and callsign instead of the flight lead's.

  • A route built only from control measures now draws its map — the page used to read "no map data" in the preview and on some templates' exports.

  • The DTC preview now shows the Apache's routes — both cartridges list each sequence's points in flying order instead of claiming routes aren't carried.

  • A Viper's four-bar scan volume is now 19.6° tall — scan height comes from the bar count and the jet, so it no longer changes with what the antenna happened to be doing, and a Hornet at the 5 nm scale now shows its wider bar spread.

  • The debrief's radar scan volume no longer flicks up and down — it follows the antenna smoothly as the scan is slewed.

  • The debrief's radar scan volume now holds still, sits level with the horizon, and is the right height — it covers all the bars at once instead of hopping up and down with each one, a Viper's four-bar scan is 19° tall rather than 11°, and a search scan no longer rolls and pitches with the jet.

  • The debrief now shows your radar antenna sweeping where it really pointed — the scan volume follows the antenna instead of sitting on the nose, on flights you have already recorded as well as new ones.

  • The debrief's RWR count now shows a number instead of a dash.

  • Your cockpit recording now finds its debrief when Tacview started after you did — flights recorded by someone who joined late no longer leave the recording unattached, and a track already on a shorter copy of the same flight moves to the one that shows all of it.

  • Reordering theater graphics on a package now reaches every flight's DTC — when all graphics came from a theater overlay, the package-level order was silently ignored; the DTC preview also now says when a control-zone graphic is kneeboard-only.

  • A flight that sorted its own graphics now says so — a Custom Order notice on the Graphics tab with a one-click return to the package's order.

  • Tomcat, Strike Eagle and Hercules crews now get head tracking in the debrief — those cockpits were being mistaken for an external view (re-download the recorder).

  • The debrief release list names your weapons correctly — the last round off a station showed as UNKNOWN.

  • Radar page text no longer shows every value twice on the latest DCS build.

  • Debrief head tracking plays back smoothly — where you looked glides instead of stepping (re-download the recorder for the full effect).

  • Viper fuel reads correctly in the debrief cockpit panel — total fuel in pounds and kilograms for the whole sortie, external tanks and tanking included.

  • The Viper's radar cone follows the antenna's real bearing — through locks and cursor slews instead of snapping back to the nose.

  • Adding a note still works after you pick a seat, slot or role on Discord — the note button used to vanish the moment you answered the picker above it, and claiming a seat never offered one at all.

  • Every seat on a big op is now pickable and visible from Discord — the announcement lists all its flights and stations, and the seat picker offers the whole board instead of stopping at the first 25 seats.

  • Two-seat flights list the pilot before the RIO — Tomcat and Strike Eagle crews were showing back-seater first on the Discord announcement and the ATO board.

  • Dragging a waypoint while you're editing one of its fields no longer leaves the old row showing a duplicate — the rows settle straight away instead of waiting for you to click elsewhere.

  • Doghouses show their heading, distance, time, altitude and speed again — they had gone blank on preview and exported maps.

  • The sample MFD in the Viper's COLORS tab now matches the real display — buttons, labels and video symbology sit where the jet puts them.

  • Hiding a support asset from a theater overlay now works — clicking the eye no longer inserts a blank placeholder row instead.

  • Support assets no longer vanish from the Support tab on kneeboards that had picked up one of those blank placeholder rows.

  • Clearing the Routes tab no longer crashes the app — the section resets to Simple mode with the default route color.

  • Squadron Viper MFD colors now have an on/off switch — turn the squadron scheme off without losing it; members' own schemes still apply.

  • Graphics from theater overlays now load into your jet's DTC — FLOTs, corridors, and areas an overlay adds to your mission reach the in-game cartridge and the Update-MIZ download, matching what the map shows.

  • Plates picked on a package now show in every flight's preview — squadron docs and airfield plates selected in the package's settings appear on each flight's kneeboard tabs, not just in the exported ZIP.

  • Graphics now always draw on top of imported Drawings — on the map and on kneeboard exports, a graphic no longer disappears behind an overlay's drawings after toggling layers.

  • Hornet DTC cartridge waypoints now carry your SHORT labels — the TEXT column in the jet's DTC editor used to come up blank unless you'd typed a full description.

  • Detached waypoints no longer split the Viper's DTC route — a waypoint set to the None role stays out of the steerpoint sequence while the rest of the flight plan loads as one route.

  • Every overlay ground unit now shows up in the OPFOR tab — units from one imported overlay could hide another overlay's units from the list while they kept rendering on kneeboard maps, with no eye toggle to turn them off.

  • The currency board keeps its pilot names and group headings in view while you scroll — and its sideways scrollbar is now where you can reach it.

  • Push Set and Comm Plan tables now fit narrow template columns — the last column used to get cut off at the table edge.

  • Doghouse row layouts now save from Design Settings — edits used to look saved and then revert on reload.

  • The doghouse layout editor is a simple drag list beside a true-size preview — and reordering now works inside Design Settings, where the dragged row used to land far from the cursor.

  • Formation definition regions now use the same colors as the debrief view, and typing a range value no longer snaps mid-keystroke — values apply when you leave the field.

  • Entering a Hornet in an updated mission no longer crashes DCS — target points now stop at the jet's last steerpoint instead of running past it, and no longer displace your bullseye.

  • Imported .miz ETAs now count from takeoff — the flight plan's TO row starts at 00:00:00 and every waypoint shows its time since, instead of the mission clock.

  • Ctrl+click on the map always drops a waypoint now — the zoom box that used to fire when the click drifted a few pixels is gone, and Ctrl+drag just pans.

  • Updating a mission now programs the radio you actually named — A-10C, Apache, Blackhawk, Chinook, Hercules and Phantom comm columns were landing on the wrong radios in the exported .miz, and the COMMS tab offers to put back any plan that was entered to work around it.

  • The 3D map holds detail with far less memory and reloads nothing you've already flown over — climbing away from the ground and dropping back keeps the terrain you had.

  • The Viper's recorded FCR page now reads as grouped readouts, labels and pages instead of a long unlabelled column down the cockpit panel.

  • Your radar scan volume now draws in the debrief for the Viper and Hornet — the scope and the wedge on your jet were blank on every recording from those airframes.

  • The cockpit readout now follows the playhead when a pilot has more than one recording on a debrief — it stopped updating partway through if an earlier, shorter recording was attached too.

  • A warm-up hop no longer lands on the next flight's debrief — cockpit recordings attach to the mission they were flown in.

  • Caucasus terrain in 3D no longer shows dark patches along the coast — the shoreline and the seams between detail areas render as terrain everywhere.

  • The Alt-row color setting now bands the Comm Presets table — along with the single-radio comm, Apache comm plan, push set, and popup/toss/HADB param tables that used to ignore it.

  • Threat group names now show up in the Theater Overlay editor — imported threats kept their mission-editor group name in the data, but the editor showed the field blank and wouldn't save an edit to it.

  • Shared debrief links now show the DCS-accurate terrain to everyone — viewers who aren't signed in get the real in-game imagery instead of generic satellite.

  • Imported threats now carry their mission-editor group name, and "Respect mission grouping" finally keeps every group to one record — threats read like ground units: the group's name in Group Name, what it's made of in Description.

  • Shift+drag on the map now always snaps, and the zoom box moved to Ctrl+drag — holding Shift before you press the mouse button no longer draws a zoom box instead.

  • Flights added to a package after it's on the ATO now show their aircraft count and open seats, instead of "0×" with no way to sign up.

  • Flights added to an already-published package now appear on the shared /view page and its PACKAGE sheet, whichever screen you add them from.

  • Update MIZ now writes Link 16 donors and team spares that point at another package flight, even when that flight isn't assigned in the same update.

  • Support presets now keep their tanker and AWACS data after saving, even when the design's theater overlay is not enabled.

  • A-10C JAFDTC waypoints no longer float in the TAD and HMCS — the .jafdtc file now leaves every waypoint elevation "Unknown" so the jet uses its own ground level.

  • Creech AFB now shows its own airport diagram on the Nevada map — a Laughlin/Bullhead chart that had been filed under Creech is gone.

  • Duplicating a package now keeps everything — the comm plan's ordering and Default Plans, interflight assignments, agency frequencies, preset points, Link 16 rosters, and each flight's mission type all survive the copy.

  • Posting to the ATO now tells you when it fails — the dialog shows the error instead of sitting there as if nothing happened.

  • Sync to Flights now reaches all 20 comm rows — it used to stop at row 11 without saying so.

  • Compressed .miz files now import — missions saved with DCS's mission compression no longer get rejected.

  • Applying a loadout preset now sets each weapon's default fuzes — the previous weapon's fuze settings no longer stick to the new one, on preset apply and .miz import both.

  • Misc presets no longer overwrite the mission date and time — applying one leaves your scheduled date alone.

  • Dragging the debrief timeline handle now works in Firefox — and the clock readout no longer nudges the timeline sideways as it ticks.

  • Planning together no longer eats each other's edits — tanker rows, tracks, overlay toggles, and package operations are now safe when several people (or a second tab) work the same mission at once.

  • A save that keeps conflicting now retries on its own until it lands — no more "please refresh" dead end that could drop your last edits.

  • Switching flights while a save is still in flight no longer bleeds one flight's data into the other's form.

  • A laser code the jet can't take now turns red as you type it — hover the field to see why, instead of finding out from warnings at miz update.

  • Loading a comm preset now puts each agency's own VHF and FM frequencies in the VHF and FM columns — the UHF frequency no longer lands in every radio.

  • Saved comm presets now show their agencies in Squadron Settings → Presets — the rows read the same there as they do on the COMMS page.

  • Airspeeds no longer collapse on a leg that ends in a sharp turn — the distance flown around the corner is now split between the legs either side of it, instead of being credited entirely to the one after.

  • Liveview names groups by where they are, like "north group" — no more reading a mission editor's unit names aloud.

  • Liveview picture calls now count groups the way a controller says them — aircraft flying together are one group with a name you can say on the radio, and parked jets stay out of the picture.

  • Liveview bearings now match the pilot's HSI — spoken bearings are magnetic in the theater's own frame, and the ribbon states which frame it's using.

  • Liveview picture calls now say how the groups are arranged — "azimuth 35" or "range 20" when the formation is clearly abreast or in trail, and nothing when it isn't.

  • The bogey dope answer for the flight you're working is now always on screen — read it out when the call comes instead of building it under pressure.

  • Liveview now tracks which flight is working which group — threat calls switch to the groups nobody has, and a flight that called judy stops getting talked over.

  • Switch between the flights you're controlling and get the exact words for what they asked — picture, bogey dope, declare and threat, including when the honest answer is "standby" or "furball".

  • Liveview now shows time to the merge and the heading to cut the bandit off — and says plainly when no cutoff exists instead of handing you a vector that won't work.

  • Liveview opens on your mission instead of an empty map, and works out the theater from where the aircraft actually are when the recording doesn't name one.

  • Groups a flight is already working now fade back on the map, leaving the ones nobody has as the loudest thing on screen.

  • SAM engagement rings now show on the Liveview map, with the miles and time before the flight you're working reaches one.

  • Reloading Liveview no longer throws away the contacts you declared — it offers them back, and applies nothing until you say so.

  • Practise controlling with no server and no recording — pick a drill in Liveview and the whole controller view runs against it, labelled so it's never mistaken for live traffic.

  • See how long a hostile group went unwatched — Liveview keeps a running count for the session.

  • Pick the package being flown and Liveview's mission board fills itself from the plan — callsigns, airframes, mission types and interflight frequencies, with each flight marked on scope or not seen.

  • Edits made moments before a save conflict or a flight switch no longer vanish — a waypoint reorder could be silently lost, later resurfacing as a rename landing on the wrong row.

  • Fuel remaining no longer increases on a descent — a descending leg always burns at least idle fuel; only a tanker adds gas.

  • Shared kneeboard links now show your custom loadout preset's name where they previously printed a raw internal ID.

  • Unslotting a pilot from an ATO flight no longer leaves them marked as attending when they never signed up themselves.

  • Presenting a debrief now carries your sidebar and telemetry panel to viewers — opening the events list or stats readout shows it on every screen.

  • The AAA rings toggle is now a proper debrief layer — one setting for the 2D and 3D views, remembered between sessions, and shared with viewers when presenting.

  • The debrief flight path marker now reads correctly the moment you pause or scrub — it no longer parks on the boresight until playback has run for a bit.

  • The debrief weapon chase cam now aims down the missile's flight path right after a pause or scrub, instead of staring at empty sky until playback resumes.

  • The FPV HUD no longer freezes stale readouts when the followed aircraft's data drops out.

  • The turn-circle post now settles onto the exact fitted circle when you frame-step or nudge the timeline — everyone parked on the same moment sees the same post.

  • Scrubbing the timeline while presenting a debrief now glides on your viewers' screens — no more stepping through the drag a frame at a time.

  • Unposting an ATO op now takes it off the squadron calendar too — the event no longer lingers there with no way to remove it.

  • F/A-18C in-game DTC threat rings now show up as soon as the cartridge loads, instead of needing you to pick a level on the SA page first.

  • Importing a .miz now fills in the mission start time, alongside the date it already picked up.

  • The Marianas DCS-accurate map no longer shows black patches near the islands or cuts off their coastlines — the seven smaller islands from Aguijan up to Farallon de Pajaros get their full shorelines back.

  • The Lake Mead chart behind the planning tabs now shows in light mode — it was nearly invisible outside dark mode.

  • The Marianas DCS-accurate map keeps one set of colors as you zoom — the forests no longer jump lighter, and Pagan's southern half is no longer cut off.

  • Debrief airspeed and AoA now account for the wind on recordings that carry it, instead of reading whatever the ground track implied.

  • Shared debrief links now show the kneeboard's bullseye, waypoints, targets, and graphics — viewers without squadron access see the same planning overlays as squadronmates.

  • Debrief bullseye readouts now follow the bullseye you have shown — with the design bullseye on and the mission one hidden (or both shown), labels and the Ctrl+Shift radial measure from the design bullseye.

  • Public maps now tell you when a published overlay has been deleted — a warning shows on the public page and in Squadron Settings → Public Maps instead of a mysteriously empty map, and deleting a kneeboard no longer offers to delete overlays a public map still uses.

  • Protected Tacview recordings from Kola and other far-northern maps now load into the debrief — aircraft land on the map instead of scattering across the globe.

  • Typing a description in the DEST points section no longer kicks you out of the field after the first letter, and the browser's own autofill menu stays out of the suggestion list.

  • Theater overlay edits to tankers and other support assets now reach every kneeboard — designs no longer freeze a support asset's callsign and freqs at whatever the overlay said when the design was first edited.

  • Your map style now applies to every exported map — range, route, per-leg, DPI, and attack-card pages no longer fall back to satellite.

  • Opening the site plain now brings back the kneeboard you last had open, instead of showing an empty planner with the right address.

  • HADB and TOSS attacks now load VRP mode from the F-16C in-game DTC — re-download your .dtc to get the VRP, pull-up point, and offset aimpoints in the jet.

  • Shared kneeboard links now show each flight's interflight freq and Mode 3 on the package page, matching the builder and the downloaded ZIP.

  • Notes images no longer vanish at random from downloaded kneeboards, and WebP uploads now print too.

  • Notes pages with images now download the way the preview shows them — images keep their real size instead of blowing up past the page edge, and pasted formatting no longer prints as code.

  • Briefing slide text keeps its colors and sizes — styling bold, italic, or underlined text no longer disappears when the briefing is reopened.

  • Blank lines on briefing slides now stick — spacing after bullet lists and between paragraphs survives reopening the briefing.

  • Coalition partners can now use the Package/Custom toggle on a partner squadron's package, instead of the package's own squadron having to unlink each tab for them.

  • Posting an op close to step no longer fires the step reminder right after the announcement — the announcement itself is the heads-up.

  • Southern Kola now has terrain elevations, so waypoints, cartridges, and the 3D view around Luleå, Arvidsjaur, and Kemi no longer read as sea level.

  • Building a package from a .miz fills in the mission date, weather, and bullseye again, on the package MISC page and on every flight.

  • The F-15E cartridge now loads only the route you planned — target points no longer arrive as extra steerpoints tacked onto the end of Route A.

  • Your squadron's templates are now pickable on any coalition partner's package, listed under Coalition Templates in the template dropdown.

  • A single-flight ATO posting is now named by its op name everywhere, so the sidebar matches what Design Settings shows and renaming it sticks.

  • Turn handling set on a waypoint now shows on the kneeboard, filling the LEAD column and folding the turn into leg distance and time the way the map already did.

  • Route maps show your route again after a stray click on the map bounds tool, instead of every route page zooming into a blank patch of ground.

  • Leg maps now cover the route you marked as primary, so every leg page carries its own route line and doghouse.

  • Saying "Can't make it" now gives your seat back, so the slot returns to the board instead of sitting there held by someone who isn't coming.

  • Setting a flight's crew in the planner now updates the ATO board, so the seats match the kneeboard instead of showing whoever held them before.

  • Archiving an op now archives its flights too, clearing them out of your kneeboard list without a second pass.

  • JSOW-C shots now read "AGM-154C JSOW" in the debrief, instead of the raw AGM_154 its A and B siblings never showed.

July 2026

Features

  • ATO cover images can now be up to 1.1 MB, so most screenshots upload without resizing.
  • Your ATO can post to Discord, and pilots can sign up right there. Connect a channel under Squadron Settings → Discord and every op announces itself with schedule, seats and attendance kept live — I'm in / Maybe / Can't make it and seat picks work straight from the message, with times shown in each reader's local timezone and an optional reminder before step.
  • Your coalition's ops now show up on your ATO board. Any op a partner squadron has shared with the coalition sits alongside your own, tagged with whose it is, and your pilots can claim seats in it.
  • Say you're coming without taking a seat. Every op on the ATO now has I'm in / Maybe / Can't make it, claiming a seat marks you as attending, and the seat dropdown shows who has answered what.
  • Double-click any unit in a 3D debrief to follow it. Aircraft, missiles, or ground units — the camera swings onto whatever you double-click, no modifier keys.
  • Pick the theater when you post an op to the ATO. The post dialog now has a Theater field that starts on what your squadron actually flies, and the flight template picker follows it — so squadrons outside the Persian Gulf can seed ATO flights from their templates again.
  • Read energy off the trail in a dogfight. Turn on Energy trails beside the dogfight cam and every trail turns green where that jet is gaining airspeed and red where it's bleeding, so you can see the moment someone eases off the pull.
  • See where a fighter's turn is centred. Turn on Turn circle post beside the dogfight cam and a post rises through the middle of each selected jet's turn circle once it's established, in the plane it's actually turning in — so who's inside whose circle stops being a guess.
  • Post a package you've already planned to the ATO. Hit POST TO ATO from the planner, or pick Post a plan you've made on the board, and your flights go up for signups with the pilots you'd already crewed in them.
  • Everyone watching a live debrief now sees where you're pointing. Hold Shift over the 3D view while presenting and your laser appears in every viewer's scene as a beam from your eye to the aircraft, ground, or patch of sky you're aiming at.
  • A live debrief now looks the same on every screen. Viewers following a presentation get the presenter's exaggeration, filters, layers, hidden flights, labels, icon sizes, day/night, pinned yardsticks, and measuring line — and their own settings come back untouched when they explore on their own.
  • Find pilots fast in the debrief. The primary and secondary selectors are now searchable, list each pilot once, and picking a pilot follows them across every sortie as you scrub — duplicates only appear when two aircraft with the same name are up at the same time.
  • Debrief keyboard shortcuts keep working after you click the controls. The scrubber, dropdowns, and buttons release the keyboard as soon as you're done with them.
  • The FPV HUD shows radar altitude. An R readout sits below the altitude box whenever terrain data is available.
  • Smoother debrief playback from the same recordings. Uploads now undo the rounding Tacview bakes into positions and attitude, so the flight path marker and trails stop twitching in straight-and-level flight — hit Reprocess on an existing mission to get the same treatment.
  • The debrief's first-person HUD now sits like a real one. The glass covers a true 17°, the boresight rides near the top, and the view looks through the center of it at a wider, more natural field of view.
  • Save a flight as a template and reuse it. Right-click a design and pick Save as Flight Template to keep it as a starting point, then apply it to any other flight — or pick it when posting to the ATO — and everything but the pilot seats comes with it.
  • Post an ATO op in Zulu. Tick Set in Zulu on the date and time and the day, the half-hour slots (2000Z) and the picker all read in Zulu, with your local time shown underneath — it changes how the time is read, never when the op is.
  • Sign up for your squadron's flights from the ATO. Every squadron now has an ATO board showing upcoming flights grouped by package, where pilots can claim the exact seat they want; mode 3 squawks and mission numbers fill automatically and the crew list stays in sync with your kneeboard.
  • The 3D planning view now flies over the real DCS map. On Nevada and Syria, the mission planner's 3D terrain is textured with DCS Accurate v2 tiles instead of generic satellite, so what you plan against matches what you'll see in the cockpit.
  • Designate the F-14B(U)'s special waypoints from the plan. Set a waypoint's Type to FP, IP, HB, DP, HA, or ST — or add LANTIRN, Destination, or a display priority in its advanced options — and the CDNU picks it up, stacking both on one point if you set both; Range Plan rows get the same Type column, so LANTIRN targets can live there. Each designation counts once per flight plan, and a clash warns you on export.
  • Your range plan now loads into the F-14B(U). Range points ride along on every route card the cartridge writes as flight-plan waypoints in the CDNU.
  • See what your DTC will load before you download it. Right-click any flight and pick Preview DTC for a load sheet of every cartridge your aircraft supports, written the way you'd brief it — lat/long, feet, knots, MHz — with an (i) on each section that explains where the data came from and jumps you to the tab that feeds it.
  • The ground in 3D debriefs is sharper, and stays sharp all the way to the runway. Taxiways, dispersals, and pavement markings now resolve on final approach instead of blurring.
  • Your C-130J and CH-47F routes now load as a flight plan. DTC exports for both airframes carry the route onto the CNI LEGS pages (Herc) and the CDU FPLN pages (Chinook) instead of leaving you to sequence the points by hand. Needs DCS-DTC 9.3.4 or newer.
  • Four more HARM emitters on the F-16C. Fire Can, the SA-15 Tor-M2, the SA-22 Pantsir-S1, and the IRIS-T SLM can now be picked in your HARM and HTS tables. Needs DCS-DTC 9.3.4 or newer.
  • Set one station's fuzes and copy them to the rest. The FZ overlay in the Loadout tab now has Copy these settings to… to push the nose/tail fuzes, arming and function delays, and laser codes to stations carrying the same weapon.
  • Fly Syria on the sharp new DCS map. The high-detail DCS Accurate v2 tiles — the same crisp, true-to-the-sim terrain that debuted on Nevada — now cover Syria in both the 2D map and the 3D debrief. Airfields and coastlines stay pin-sharp as you zoom in, the Mediterranean shows real DCS water instead of dark gaps, and the map only falls back to satellite where the detail genuinely runs out (open ocean up close, or away from airfields at the deepest zoom). Pick DCS Accurate v2 from the map's style menu on any Syria design.
  • Set up your F/A-18C HARMs from the Loadout tab. Load an AGM-88 on the Hornet and a new HARM Setup panel appears below the loadout, with the same two tabs as the jet: AGM-88 (launch mode SP / TOO / PB, pull-up cue, threat class, LIMIT, pullback, PB target code) and TOO CLASS (re-classify any of the ~58 threat emitters — SA-6, SA-10, HQ-7, naval, AAA… — to prioritize what the HARM hunts in TOO mode). It's one shared setup for every HARM aboard and loads straight into the jet's HARM pages from your DTC cartridge. Squadrons can set a standard HARM setup once under Squadron Settings → DTC Defaults → F/A-18C → HARM that every Hornet inherits, and any design's own HARM panel overrides it.
  • F-16C range plans now number from 81 to match the jet. Range-plan rows on a Viper design suggest numbers starting at 81 — the same slots (81–99) they fill on the jet's DEST page — so your kneeboard and cockpit numbering line up. The Hornet's GPS page starts at 1, so Hornet range plans still number from 1.
  • Your range plan now loads onto the Hornet's GPS waypoint page. F/A-18C DTC exports carry range-plan waypoints (up to 200) onto the jet's dedicated GPS_WYPT page — the Hornet's version of the Viper's DEST page. Range waypoints no longer also clutter the main 0–59 steerpoint sequence on either jet: they land on the DEST page (Viper) or GPS page (Hornet) and nowhere else. Re-download your DTC to pick this up.
  • Your F-16C pop-up attack now loads into the jet's VIP/VRP page. Plan a pop-up on a Viper waypoint and the exported .dtc cartridge fills the new in-game VIP/VRP setup — the VRP and pull-up point are cued for you on load. One pop-up per cartridge; re-download your DTC to pick it up.
  • Add targets from any flight in a package. Right-click an enemy on a package flight's map and pick Add Target just like on the package master; the target is created once for the whole package and automatically assigned to the flight you're editing.
  • Add ready-made targets straight from the theater. The Targets tab now lists real infrastructure from map data — power plants, factories, air bases and more — broken into individual aimpoints, searchable by name or type and filterable to military or civilian sites.
  • See real-world airspaces on the map. Turn on the Airspaces layer to overlay real restricted, prohibited, danger, and military-training areas plus control zones, drawn in doctrinal colors; click any airspace for its name, type, floor, ceiling, and activity hours, and in 3D view they rise as see-through volumes so you can see exactly what you're flying through.
  • Plan offset aimpoints right on the map. Right-click any F-16C or F/A-18C waypoint and choose Add Offset Aimpoint to drag a smaller ring into place; the Viper carries two per steerpoint (OA1/OA2), the Hornet one per waypoint, and both jets' DTC cartridges load them with bearing, range, and elevation.
  • Set fuzes straight from the aircraft diagram. In the Loadout tab, stations carrying a fuzable weapon now show an orange corner marker on their store box — click it to open the same fuze settings as the FZ button.
  • Ride the warhead in 3D debriefs. Select a missile or bomb as the primary (right-click it, or Ctrl+Click) and the first-person view button now works from its nose, HUD and all — follow a HARM all the way into the SAM.
  • Plan Link16 TNDL teams and donors across the package. The new L16 tab on the package master lays out every F-16C and F/A-18C flight's real slots — merge flights into one team, add donor flights or AI assets, and Update MIZ writes the network into every jet at once instead of one aircraft at a time in the Mission Editor. Viper DTC exports carry the same team layout, and this is the only way to set donors, which can't be entered from the cockpit.
  • Your battlefield graphics now fly with the Kiowa. OH-58D DTC exports carry the Graphics tab onto the aircraft's HSD: lines and areas load into the BFLD GRPH page and corridors come along as their centerline.
  • Plan the F-14B(U) as its own airframe — with a real DTC cartridge. The Tomcat now has real stores (GBU-31/GBU-38 JDAMs, GBU-24E, Mk-83AIR, Phoenix loadout) and routes up to 50 waypoints; up to 12 route cards export to the jet's Mission Data Loader with waypoint roles (IP, Target, Bullseye) and graphics as plot lines.
  • Set squadron ALE-47 countermeasure programs for the F-14B(U). Squadron Settings → DTC Defaults → F-14B(U) now has a CMDS editor for all dispense programs, threat-class responses, and bingo quantities; these are written into every exported DTC cartridge.
  • Pre-plan JDAM strikes per station on the F-14B(U). With a GBU-31 or GBU-38 on stations 3-6, the FZ overlay in the Loadout tab holds up to 8 pre-planned missions per station; set attack heading, drop altitude/speed, and impact heading/angle, and they load into the jet's JMSN page.
  • Load the Tomcat's special navigation points through Update MIZ. F-14A/B waypoint types now include FP, IP, ST, DP, and HA, and importing a .miz restores those types for another editing pass.
  • Preview and exported maps now show the same waypoint markers. CAP shapes and short labels now appear on both preview and exported maps consistently.
  • Keep a steerpoint in your DTC without flying to it. Set a waypoint's Role to the new None and it drops out of flight planning entirely — the route line, auto times, and fuel bridge straight from its neighbors (3 direct to 5) — while the point keeps its map pin, its row on the route card, and its steerpoint number in every DTC export. Perfect for a standoff target you designate but never overfly. The default Role is now labeled Waypoint; existing plans are unchanged.
  • Hover any Timeline bar for its details. Transit, hold, and task sections now show a tooltip with start and end times, duration, and the flight's callsign.
  • Build mission graphics from reusable pieces. In the Graphics tab, click From Presets..., choose as many saved graphic sets as you need, and add them together without replacing anything already on the map. The combined result is ready to edit or save as a new preset.
  • Start a new custom template from any of our ready-made designs. Template Builder's New template dialog now lists every built-in template — Warhawks in 4 or 8 pilots, light or dark, plus Nightmares and Panthers — and starts you with a fully-editable copy.
  • Add a third custom kneeboard page when two are not enough. Template Builder now includes an optional Page 3 with the same mission, flight, communications, loadout, notes, and graphic blocks available on Pages 1 and 2. Leave it blank and nothing changes; add content and it joins preview, published templates, and every pilot export in numbered order.
  • Put friendly ground units on the briefing Sandtable. The Friendly piece tray now includes a generic ground-unit marker for coordinating friendly troop and vehicle positions alongside the existing hostile markers.
  • Load only the route into JAFDTC. A-10C and F-16C designs now have Export Options → JAFDTC → Export waypoints only in Design Settings. Turn it on to keep squadron-standard radios, countermeasures, datalink, laser, TACAN, and other aircraft settings untouched when you import the .jafdtc file.
  • Put package flights in the order that makes sense to the planner. Drag the grip beside any Timeline row to reorder the package; that shared order sticks across views and output.
  • Build your loadout from a nose-on view. Fully calibrated aircraft in the Loadout tab now appear head-on above labeled pylon boxes; click a box to open the weapon list or type a custom store name directly.
  • Build a training replay one shot at a time. Hit Make Training Aid beside Present live, record camera and display control shots one by one, then use the Program timeline to arrange shots in order, add timed captions, and save to your squadron’s Ops Log → Training Aids.
  • Share a live debrief and keep everyone looking at the same moment. Present live syncs your playback clock, camera, selected aircraft, and labels to viewers with the share link; viewers can explore independently then return to your view.
  • Bring tactical symbols straight in from GeoJSON. In Squadron Settings → Theater Overlays, one Import picker now handles MIZ, JSON, and GeoJSON files; point symbols keep their MIL-STD-2525 symbol and designation, and draw on live and exported kneeboard maps.
  • Weapons-delivery plans now stand out on the live map. Three small bomb silhouettes appear above-left of any waypoint with a PopUp, HADB, or TOSS plan; click them to reopen that waypoint's planner.
  • Build a briefing together without overwriting each other. Briefings now pick up changes from other browsers and merge edits on different slides, drawings, and markers; the current browser's edit wins on simultaneous changes.
  • Live View and RealView now share one server feed across the whole squadron. Multiple pilots can watch the same live server without opening duplicate connections back to it, making long-running shared sessions lighter and more reliable.
  • Open any Tacview debrief without uploading it. Visit /debrief and drop in an .acmi or .zip.acmi recording to replay and analyze it locally, whether you are signed in or not. The recording and its parsed flight data stay in your browser.
  • Put the boat where the recovery starts. Carrier tracks now begin at the start of the directional leg; choose whether the anchor is at the Start or End of that leg in the Orbit strip.
  • Put a graphic line's label where it reads best. The Graphics tab now lets you place a line or corridor label on its Start, Center, End, or Longest segment; existing graphics keep using Longest.
  • The full theater editor, inside your campaign. The campaign Theater tab's Edit picture view is the complete theater-overlay editor — drawings, graphics, strike targets, units, and threats — editing your linked overlay live in full-screen view.
  • See which turn's picture you're looking at. Every campaign map now has a turn selector in its header — switch between the live picture and any published turn's frozen snapshot, and the label turns amber when you're viewing a past turn.
  • Nominate any enemy on the map. Right-clicking any hostile unit, group, static, or SAM on the campaign map now offers "Nominate as target", not just campaign-tracked ones.
  • Set an ATO's schedule anytime. Click the "Scheduled For" tile on any turn — including published ones — to set or change its window and in-game date.
  • Publishing keeps you in the campaign. Publishing a turn no longer whisks you off to the kneeboard editor — you stay on the frag board, with an "Open package planning" link when you want it.
  • Cleaner flight seats on the frag board. A filled seat is now a single tidy chip; releasing your seat (or clearing someone else's) moves into the seat's dropdown instead of a hover button.
  • Add munitions from a searchable list. The Assets tab's Add munition now searches every weapon DCS airframes can carry, grouped by category, instead of a free-text box.
  • Close the loop after each op night — debrief reconcile is here. A published turn's frag board now has a Debrief & reconcile panel that matches uploaded .acmi recordings to frag lines, shows who actually flew each mission, and tallies munitions expended and aircraft losses against your plan.
  • A published plan is now truly locked. Adding, editing, or deleting frag lines after publish is rejected — seat claims stay open — and publishing twice or double-clicking Prepare can no longer create duplicate packages.
  • View the theater picture as it was pinned. The Situation tab's Picture card now switches the campaign map between the live picture and any published turn's frozen snapshot.
  • Assign pilots to seats from the frag board. Squadron planners can now drop any member into a flight's seat or clear it; both claiming and assigning write straight into the crew with each pilot's set callsign.
  • Campaign planning got a big round of polish. New campaigns open with a turn ready to frag; adding a flight now asks only mission type and aircraft, then creates callsign, mission number, and route automatically from the flight plan, so the ATO follows your changes in the normal planner.
  • Campaigns are real now. The campaign planner runs on your squadron's database instead of a browser-local demo: campaigns persist, seat claims are shared in real time, and the JIPTL panel ranks targets with an on-call cut line and CO approval stamp, then Publish the turn to generate real DKS packages and push them live to your squadron.
  • The campaign prototype gets a Theater tab and a real war picture. The seeded campaign now plays out over an actual squadron theater overlay; the Theater tab lets you import overlays, mark units destroyed, and nominate targets directly from the map with flight-strip colors and routing visible on hover.
  • Try the new campaign-planning prototype. Open Campaigns from the Tools menu to explore a squadron campaign across Situation, ATO, Targets, Assets, Log, and Settings using the tactical map to nominate units, expand flight strips into mapped routes, and adjust advisory stock.
  • Airspace with a floor and ceiling now renders as a real 3D volume in the debrief. Any graphic with Airspace Details altitudes — a stacked ROZ, a corridor, a kill box — extrudes into a translucent block ("FL180–FL240" sits exactly there), so layered airspace reads at a glance; toggle with the new VOL layer chip.
  • Friendly air defense gets threat bubbles too. Turn on the new Friendly AD Rings layer chip and blue-side SAMs and AAA render their engagement rings in blue, in both the 2D and 3D views.
  • Pin the orbit camera to your jet. Press O (or use the new Pin Cam selector) to make the orbit camera swing with the aircraft as it turns — Heading keeps the horizon level, Full welds to the airframe roll and all.
  • Missiles and bombs get their own size slider. The new Wpn Scale slider in the 3D controls sizes weapons independently of aircraft, and they now render 30% larger out of the box.
  • Hold Alt for slow, precise camera movement in the 3D view — the opposite of Shift's speed boost, for fly speed and zoom alike.
  • Middle-drag time scrubbing is smooth now. Move the mouse slowly for near-frame precision, flick it to traverse minutes.
  • The FPV camera now sits in the cockpit instead of the middle of the airframe, and your own trail no longer flashes across the view during hard maneuvers.

Fixes

  • Hover a cut-off kneeboard name in the sidebar to read it in full. The tooltip only shows up when the name is actually clipped.
  • The account menu no longer opens behind the kneeboard preview. Profile Settings, Squadrons and Tools are reachable again on narrower screens.
  • ATO flight planes no longer stick to the top of the screen when you scroll. They now slide under the header with the rest of their flight.
  • The F-14B(U)'s CMDS tab in your profile is no longer blank. Set your personal AN/ALE-47 programs there just like in squadron settings.
  • Opening a debrief from a kneeboard's right-click menu no longer shoves the Ops Log window off the top of the screen. Its title and the "press esc to close" hint stay where they belong.
  • Clicking through kneeboards quickly no longer locks up the app. Every switch is instant now, and none of your clicks get dropped along the way.
  • Hiding and showing the preview now glides instead of jumping. In the side-by-side layout the page used to snap to full width before the preview moved.
  • 3D aircraft on the ATO and campaign boards now stay with their cards when you scroll. They were hanging in place until you hovered one, then snapping back.
  • ATO flights now number their STNs, laser codes and squawks off the callsign. Widow 3 gets STNs 41131-41134, laser codes 1631-1634 and squawks ending 31-34 instead of every flight numbering from 1; rename a flight and the series follow, leaving anything you typed yourself alone.
  • SAM kills now show up in the debrief. Ground and naval launchers are now credited for their kills; reprocess a mission to pick up the fix.
  • Nearest-shooter matching no longer skews east-west. Shooter distance is now calculated in true ground distance instead of raw degrees, so equidistant candidates resolve correctly regardless of latitude.
  • Any squadron editor can now edit a briefing. Squad editors who aren't the creator can now save their edits; viewers still can't edit, and deletion still requires the creator or an admin.
  • Submitting a plate for review works again. Every submission from the Plate Corrector was failing with a page of red error text; plates now reach the review queue.
  • 3D debrief terrain no longer looks softly out of focus. Runway edges, roads, and field boundaries now render straight and crisp instead of subtly bent.
  • Below-sea-level waypoints no longer load into the jet upside down. A Dead Sea or Caspian point at −1,300 ft used to reach the cockpit as +1,300 ft; the F-16C now carries the real negative elevation (down to −1,500 ft) and every other airframe falls back to 0 rather than flipping the sign. Re-download your DTC to pick up the fix.
  • The Apache accepts the full range of laser codes. Codes in the 2xxx, 4xxx, and 5xxx families now load into the cartridge correctly.
  • Waypoint names no longer break the upload. Characters the cockpit keypad can't type are cleaned up before export, and periods, slashes, and spaces now type properly on the A-10C.
  • The F-16C VHF radio now takes FM frequencies. COMM2 now covers FM 30–87.975 MHz (JTAC and ground nets) in addition to AM 108–151.975, and exported DTC cartridges set FM on those channels.
  • F-16C dtc.json STNs now keep their leading zeros. Members are written as full 5-digit entries (03605, not 3605) so the DTC app loads them correctly; re-download your DTC to pick up the fix.
  • The Carrier fields appear in MISC whenever your template has the carrier block. Custom templates that render Carrier (ICLS/ACLS/TACAN/BRC) now surface the matching inputs for any airframe — F-14 included — not just the F/A-18C.
  • First-person view no longer floats between two selected aircraft. Entering FPV while paused with a secondary selection put the camera at the pair's midpoint; it now always sits in the primary's cockpit.
  • The Route Tool preset now includes the Tomcat's special points. F-14 waypoints typed FP, IP, ST, DP, or HA were dropped from the exported preset; they now export as regular route points named with their role (Update MIZ still loads them into the jet's real navigation slots).
  • Support presets now remember your edits to mission-imported assets. Tweaks to tankers, AWACS, and carriers imported from missions now save into presets and return when you recall them.
  • Numbered folders now sort like numbers. Sidebar folders (and design names) prefixed "7.", "66.", "99." order numerically instead of "66" landing between "6" and "7".
  • The debrief LSO cam now sits exactly where the Supercarrier PLAT camera does. Position and aim on the CVN-72 now match DCS's own LSO view.
  • F-14B(U) DTC routes now load in the jet. Exported routes are offset to account for CDNU behavior, so your planned route 1 loads from plan 2, route 2 from plan 3, and so on.
  • Exported maps honor the Simple doghouse style. Designs set to Simple doghouses no longer fall back to the full data blocks on kneeboard exports, and NATO map symbology now carries through to exported maps too.
  • Comm Plan columns stay under their headers. When a template has no channel column (or an Apache-style template omits a radio), the form no longer shifts the remaining inputs under the wrong headers.
  • OH-58D radio tables are labeled correctly. Kneeboard pages and the Template Builder starter had UHF/VHF and FM1/FM2 labels swapped; presets now print under the radio they were entered for.
  • Exported route maps draw the right route. Disabled or unplaced routes no longer shift later route maps onto the wrong line.
  • Home Plate / Divert fields show up when the table lives on a route or attack card page. The Divert tab no longer requires the block to be on Page 1 or 2.
  • Data-tab fields on Page 3 now show up in the forms. The Comm Plan tab (and every other data tab) now recognizes fields placed on a Template Builder Page 3 — radios 3/4 preset tables and channel columns included — instead of hiding those inputs.
  • Empty Template Builder pages no longer sneak into your kneeboards. Pages with no blocks are skipped in previews, exports, and published templates.
  • Changed export settings now reach your next download. Toggling options like JAFDTC "Export waypoints only" produces a fresh ZIP instead of a previously downloaded copy of the kneeboard link.
  • Briefing text changes stay with the slide you edited. Changing text size, color, or content and immediately moving to another slide no longer drops the change or replaces the other slide's text.
  • Print PDF now includes every page on the first try from a shared kneeboard link. The button waits for the selected pilot's complete MDC page list instead of sometimes opening a two-page PDF that needed to be canceled and retried.
  • Timeline speed cautions now stay on the right legs. Speed cautions are judged in their selected units and cover only affected flight legs instead of stretching across entire mission phases.
  • Changing a package flight's aircraft now starts its loadout clean. Weapons and presets from the previous aircraft are cleared and pylon numbers are corrected for the new aircraft.
  • Saving a Training Aid now leaves the debrief visible. Save progress stays neatly inside the button instead of flashing the full-screen ACMI processing state, and the Ops Log navigation now matches Squadron Settings.
  • Copied debrief links now confirm and get out of the way. The “Live debrief link copied” message dismisses itself after four seconds instead of remaining over the viewer indefinitely.
  • Live shared debrief playback now moves as smoothly as normal playback. Viewer timelines run locally between presenter updates, and the orbit camera keeps the followed aircraft centered.
  • More DCS units and stores now look like themselves in Tacview debriefs. M-109s, T-62Ms, HEMTT tankers, TOW-2s, jettisoned fuel tanks, and the KS-19/S-60 heavy flak guns now use the closest matching 3D shapes instead of generic vehicles, generic missiles, disappearing entirely, or masquerading as Shilkas.
  • Selection bars look connected again. The Standalone Design / Package choice and advanced waypoint options such as Overfly, Cut, and Preturn once again appear as a single selection bar instead of a row of unrelated buttons.
  • RealView stays responsive during long live sessions. Trail rendering is now optimized to prevent slowdown and browser crashes after extended connections.
  • A second pilot joining the same live Tacview feed now sees aircraft at the correct altitude. Aircraft no longer appear at sea level while continuing to move correctly for pilots who connect after the feed is already running.
  • B-2 Spirits now look like B-2s in Tacview debriefs. B-2 bombers now use their proper 3D model and silhouette instead of generic aircraft shapes.
  • Fuel remaining now follows the whole route for every airframe. Routes longer than 15 waypoints no longer lose their fuel estimates after waypoint 15.
  • Nevada map imagery lines up correctly across zoom levels. The Nevada tiles had drifted about ten meters between zoom levels; they now register cleanly at every zoom.
  • Menu hover highlights are visible in light mode again. Dropdown menus — the user menu, right-click menus, searchable pickers — now show a clear highlight on the hovered item in both themes.
  • Threat bubbles, airspace shapes, and selection outlines no longer trail a frame behind the camera — their terrain cutouts stick to the scenery during fast orbits and follow-cam maneuvers.
  • The vertical exaggeration slider is smooth and consistent now. Dragging it no longer freezes the debrief; threat bubbles and measure lines move correctly and stay at proper altitude.
  • The FPV flight path marker no longer lies far from theater center. Level flight now reads correctly on the HUD regardless of position in the theater.
  • Close-up aircraft stay true-to-size regardless of the Scale slider. Scale above 100% used to inflate models even when you were zoomed in close enough to see them at real size; it now only affects how much distant objects are enlarged.
  • Draw drawings AND graphics right in the Theater Overlay editor — and share them squadron-wide. The new Drawings & Graphics section in Squadron Settings → Theater Overlays lets you author doctrinal measures (FLOT, ROZ, kill box, corridors…) as shareable Graphics or plain kneeboard Drawings; Graphics merge into designs and upload to the jet, while Drawings stay annotation-only and toggle per design.
  • The graphics kind list now covers the whole ACO. The kind dropdown is grouped by JP 3-52 category — Airspace (ACM), Fire Support (FSCM), Maneuver, Air Defense, and ATC — and picks up two dozen new measures including kill box, SAAFR, transit corridor, safe lane, AAR track, CAP station, CAS holding, UAS area, and more, each with sensible default colors and line styles.
  • Graphics can carry their ACO details. Every graphic has an optional Airspace Details section — floor and ceiling, controlling agency and frequency, and active hours (Zulu). Fill in what you need and it prints on the map label ("ROZ BULLDOG · SFC–FL180 · MAGIC 251.000 · 0600Z–1830Z") and in the graphic's list row; leave it empty and nothing changes.
  • Paste a coordinate list — in whatever format you've got. The Paste button on preset points and graphics now accepts DD, DDM, DMS, MGRS, and CSV format in any mix, with a live preview before you commit.
  • Hand-tune what a graphic sends to the jet with Export Vertices. Flip a graphic's vertex list to the Export tab to simplify complex shapes for the jet's geometry budget — the kneeboard keeps your full-detail drawing, and only the export changes.
  • Put a VRP DED card anywhere with the new VRP DED Block. In the template builder's Attack Cards section, drop a VRP DED Block onto any page and set its Plan # to print the VRP, PUP, OA1, and OA2 offsets for the Nth weapons-delivery plan, the same numbers the F-16 DTC loads for pop-up attacks.
  • Archive presets instead of deleting them. In Squadron Settings → Presets, hit Archive to hide presets from dropdowns while keeping them saved for designs that already use them; archived presets are one click away if you need them back.
  • Targets and DMPIs are now one thing — a Target. The Targets tab replaces the old DMPI tab; a Target holds one or more DPIs (aimpoints), and you can place aimpoints by right-clicking almost anything on the map and picking Add DPI Here to drop one exactly on waypoints, threats, units, airfields, or graphics — Shift-drag to snap to nearby units.
  • Strike Targets can now live in a theater overlay, shared squadron-wide. Build a Target and its aimpoints once in Squadron Settings → Theater Overlays (right-click the map to drop them), and every design with that overlay enabled sees them automatically — assign each aimpoint to a flight member, and hide whole targets or individual aimpoints per design.
  • A collapsed sidebar now peeks open on hover. Mouse over the collapsed rail to browse your designs in a temporary overlay — the forms and preview stay right where they are.
  • Snap a whole batch of preset points to ground level. Select points in Squadron Settings → Preset Points and hit Snap to ground to re-sample every selected point's elevation from the in-game terrain at once.
  • Type an exact audio sync offset in the debrief. Click the offset value between the −1s/+1s buttons in the audio alignment bar and enter the seconds directly, instead of dragging or nudging your way there.
  • Share waypoints between flights in a package. Move a waypoint and a prompt offers to move theirs too; use Copy from flight… on the Waypoints tab to pull another flight's waypoint span into yours, and Shift-drag one of your waypoints near a ghost waypoint to snap it exactly into place.
  • Importing a .miz now brings in each waypoint's speed and ETA. The mission editor's timing data lands in the Airspeed and ETA columns as ground speed in knots and mission-clock time — no more retyping what your mission maker already dialed in.
  • Rename your debrief bookmarks. Click the pencil on a bookmark in the event list to give it a real name instead of "Bookmark 1".
  • F/A-18C DMPI coordinates now include decimal seconds. Pre-planned target cards use the new Precise DMS format (N 30°17'15.33") that UFC PP JDAM entry asks for — pick a different format under Design Settings → DMPI Format if you want the old whole-second DMS.
  • See exactly where a SAM can see you along your route. Check Route exposure in the Viewsheds list to outline the stretches of your route that are line-of-sight visible to each emitter, computed leg by leg at your planned altitude against in-game terrain.
  • Update MIZ now embeds your kneeboard pages in the mission file. Flight kneeboard pages are written into the .miz so pilots see them in-game without downloading anything; uncheck Embed kneeboard pages in the Update MIZ dialog to skip it.
  • Importing a .miz now brings in NAV TGT PTS. A flight's nav target points (F-14, JF-17) land in your waypoint list after the route waypoints — marked on the map but kept off the route line, with the kneeboard switched to Advanced route mode automatically.
  • Advanced route mode comes to seven more airframes: the F-14, AJS37 Viggen, JF-17, M-2000C, Mirage F1EE, AV-8B, and MB-339A can now split their waypoint list into explicit routes on the Routes tab.
  • The Mirage 2000C is now a supported airframe. Pick it when building a kneeboard or importing a .miz — loadouts with Magic II and Super 530D, fuel tanks, both TRT radios' presets, and takeoff data included.
  • The package summary sheet now reads by flight instead of by pilot. Each flight gets a single line with its STN block, interflight frequency, Mode 3 squawk, and A-A TACAN; set each flight's interflight in the Interflight Frequencies section of the Package Agency Manager.
  • 476th vFG Range Targets mod objects now look like themselves in the 3D debrief. SeaLand containers, range circles, strafe pits, foul lines, bunker and revetment complexes, and NTTR DMPI targets render with their real shapes at true scale, instead of as generic trucks and tanks.
  • SFL racing ring gates render in the debrief and Realview — and score themselves. Fly an SFL gate mission and your Tacview shows every ring gate in exact shape and place; hit Score in the 3D controls to see each gate light green when cleared cleanly or red when touched, with the official SFL score (0–100) and gate-to-gate splits in the Speed Trial panel.
  • Put your own documents on the kneeboard. Upload a PDF or image (up to 10 MB) in Squadron Settings → Documents and its pages become kneeboard pages you select and order like plates.
  • Brief on a sandtable. The briefing tool now has a full-screen Sandtable view with the mission map and piece tray — flights, bandits, tankers, AWACS, targets — that you drag, move, rotate, and rename live with the same drawing tools.
  • The F-100D Super Sabre and the A-4E-C Skyhawk are now supported airframes. Pick them when building a kneeboard or importing a .miz — loadouts, fuel tanks, UHF presets, and takeoff data included.
  • install.bat now loads your DCS Route Tool preset for you. The route preset in kneeboard ZIPs now merges automatically into the right map's file, so it's waiting in the Route Tool when you spawn in.
  • Name your routes. Type a name right on each route card in the Routes tab — or in the new Name field in Simple mode — and it shows on the kneeboard route page's title strip and preview tab instead of "Route 1".
  • Map previews now render right in your browser. Map pages in the builder preview and shared kneeboard links draw on your machine instead of waiting on a server render, so they show up noticeably faster.
  • Squadrons can now skip ED In-Game DTC sections by default. In Squadron Settings → DTC Defaults, admins can leave Waypoints, CMS/CMDS, and Radios unchecked in DCS-DTC exports so comm presets and other mission-file data stay put.

Fixes

  • Forms, dialogs, toolbars, and settings screens now use a more consistent set of controls throughout DKS. Inputs keep readable placeholder text, labels have reliable spacing, adjacent toolbar controls line up, settings navigation reads as a list again, and dialogs handle focus and keyboard actions more predictably. Dense planning tables and specialized map controls keep their compact layouts.
  • Picking an agency for the A-10C's UHF radio now fills in its frequency. On the three-radio comm plan (A-10C, F-4E, UH-1H), choosing a saved agency in the UHF column dropped the agency's name in but left the frequency blank — the VHF AM and VHF FM columns filled it fine. The UHF column now shows the selected agency's frequency like the others, and its dropdown only offers agencies that actually reach UHF.
  • Drawing graphics on a package-linked flight no longer duplicates the map. If you were drawing a graphic on the package's shared data and then switched to one of its linked flights, the map could keep the pencil armed and let you keep clicking — quietly copying the package's whole graphics set onto that one flight, so every corridor, FLOT, and ROZ drew twice and stuck around even after you unlinked and relinked. Switching flights now puts the pencil (and any lift or placement mode) away, and a linked flight's graphics are locked on the map just like they are in the tab — they belong to the package, and you edit them there.
  • Preset and nav point labels on the map are easier to read. Point names now sit on a solid dark high-contrast pill instead of relying on a faint white glow, so they stay legible over busy or dark terrain — light desert, dark mountains, or a satellite basemap alike. The label is centered neatly on its dot.
  • Custom tanker/AWACS track colors now show on the map and on exports. Recolor a support asset's orbit and the whole racetrack — the line, its direction arrows, and the callsign label — follows suit on the mission map, shared links, and the exported kneeboard PNG, instead of snapping back to the default mint green. Leave a track's color unset and it stays mint as before.
  • The "move theirs too" prompt now fires reliably after snapping another flight first. Snap flight A's waypoint to an airport, then flight B's to the same spot, and dragging B again now offers to move A too — before, the prompt could stay silent because it was still reading flight A's pre-snap position from a moment-stale cache. It now re-checks the other flights' live positions when the cache comes up empty.
  • The 3D debrief keeps sharp terrain while the padlock camera tracks a jet. Padlocking a target during slow (≤2×) playback now streams full-detail terrain as the view moves, the same way the orbit-follow camera already did — no more waiting for the camera to stop.
  • SFL Speed Trial now clocks weight-off-wheels at 16 ft radar altitude and shows that takeoff time on the score card (and reports the score to three decimals).
  • Home Plate / Divert presets now save every column, including MGRS and ADF. Each preset now keeps its own MGRS, ADF, ATIS, ILS course, and Notes values; re-save affected presets to capture the fields that weren't sticking.
  • F-16 and F/A-18 radio presets now load into the native in-game DTC. Flights linked to the package comm plan shipped their in-game cartridge with every channel set to 0 — both the downloaded _OB.dtc and the one Update MIZ embeds now carry the frequencies. Re-download or re-run Update MIZ to pick up the fix.
  • Disabling a Theater Overlay now clears its support assets from the Support tab. Turning off an overlay that provided tankers, AWACS, or other support left copies behind as editable local rows — with the wrong (default) track heading and length — and each on/off cycle piled on another blank record you couldn't delete. Overlay support assets now come and go with the overlay, just like its threats and targets, and no leftover rows accumulate. Already have orphaned blank rows from before? Their hamburger menu now has a Delete option so you can clear them out.
  • A support asset's orbit now shows its length, width, and heading. The Orbit strip now stretches across to the LAT/LNG column so the Len/Wid/Hdg numbers are visible.
  • UH-1H rocket pods now show which rocket they carry. Rocket stations now display the warhead type (HE, HEAT, WP, Illum, Smoke, Practice) so you can pick the round you need.
  • F-16C TOSS and HADB attacks no longer send OAP2 to the jet with 0 elevation. OA2 now carries real elevation on the DTC and VRP DED-entry card.
  • HMS Invincible and ARA Veinticinco de Mayo are now carriers. The South Atlantic flat-tops come through .miz import as boats with TACAN/ICLS and can be added from the map's carrier menu, alongside the classic (pre-2017) Admiral Kuznetsov.
  • Wide tables no longer drag the whole tab sideways. On narrow windows, only the table scrolls while controls and titles above stay put.
  • Sinai debriefs no longer show up as Syria. Recordings flown over Israel — on both maps since Syria's expansion — now land on the right theater, with the right map and terrain; hit Reprocess on an affected mission to correct it.
  • Aircraft no longer stutter during debrief playback. Playback now corrects for timestamp rounding so the flown path stays smooth and steady.
  • The 3D debrief flies smoother — buildings and terrain no longer stutter as you move the camera, especially on Apple-silicon Macs where buildings had taken a big hit.
  • The 3D map view now opens looking north. It was starting out facing south, with the compass flipped, so the map came up backwards.
  • Hiding a Range Plan point now sticks. Hidden points remain hidden even after auto-save.
  • Every elevation now comes from the in-game terrain on all 13 DCS maps. Waypoint, threat, target, and DTC elevations sample the same 10 m surface your RADALT sees — real-world elevation data, which could disagree by 100+ ft on slopes, is no longer used.
  • Importing a .miz from an unsupported mod terrain no longer breaks elevation lookups. Import now falls back to the closest supported theater.
  • Importing a .miz now brings in tankers and AWACS flying Circle or Anchored orbits, not just Race-Track. All three DCS orbit types come through as on-station support assets.
  • New orbit tracks now anchor at the end of the hot leg, like a DCS Anchored orbit. Enter a tanker's anchor point and HDG and the racetrack extends behind the point with the hot leg flown into it — where DCS actually flies the pattern. Existing saved tracks keep their exact geometry.
  • The package timeline's flight labels and time axis now show up on in-browser package exports. The Gantt chart previously came out with bars but no text, and the same chart now uses the same lettering on every export path.
  • The stray AUX column is gone from the Flight Members tab on Warhawks templates. They never printed it on the kneeboard — aux frequencies live on the comms page — so the form no longer shows it either.
  • Comm plan frequencies are now checked against the radio in that column, not just the aircraft. Frequencies that a specific radio can't tune now get the red out-of-band warning.

June 2026

Features

  • Sharper, game-accurate terrain in 3D across every map, not just Nevada — the 3D debrief, 3D mission view, and route vertical profiles now ride a high-detail 10 m elevation surface on Syria, Sinai, the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, and more.

  • Viewsheds are instant and now match the in-game terrain — threat and friendly-radar coverage computes on the high-detail 10 m terrain right on your machine, with no server wait and no coarse-then-sharpen settle.

  • Give a point a short name and your DTC reads it cleanly. Every waypoint, range-plan point, and control point now has a Short column (up to 4 letters) on the F-16C DEST, Kiowa DTC and map, and map markers.

  • Zoomed leg pages now cover just your low-level run. Tag a waypoint Entry Point (EP) and another Exit Point (XP) to focus the per-leg map pages on just that section.

  • Note your departure and recovery plan on the TOLD card. Two optional free-text rows on the Misc tab's TOLD section, configurable per template.

  • Enter your preset points in MGRS. The coordinate-format picker now offers MGRS alongside DD, DDM, and DMS everywhere you manage preset points.

  • Show only the range points that matter. Every Range Plan row now has a kneeboard-visibility eye (plus a master toggle) to drop a point from your kneeboard, range map, and in-game DTC without deleting it.

  • Debrief track colors now stick and are shared. Recolored tracks save with the recording for everyone, and pilots can get signature colors that follow them across debriefs.

  • Syria's June airfield expansion is on your kneeboard. The fourteen new Syria airfields — Nevatim, Hatzerim, Kedem, Teyman in Israel and Konya, Diyarbakir and more across Turkey — are now take-off, waypoint, and divert locations with corrected runways across every map.

  • The 3D debrief now shows your whole package. Every flight's route and battlefield graphics appear in their own colors with a Package Flights legend and GFX toggle.

  • Bullseye now rides along in your in-game DTC, and importing a .miz now sets it even if you'd already placed one.

  • Mark a tanker waypoint and your fuel numbers carry the top-off. A waypoint's Advanced options now has a Refuel here (tanker) option that refills the fuel-remaining column.

  • Set your Hornet's FPAS home waypoint from the kneeboard. Flag a waypoint as FPAS home on an F/A-18C and your in-game DTC carries it.

  • Update MIZ now sets your Hornet's datalink STN and voice callsign — the two things you can't set from the cockpit — written onto each mapped F/A-18C from your kneeboard and tactical callsign.

  • Update MIZ writes the Viper's voice callsign too. Each mapped F-16C now gets its voice callsign written onto the jet.

  • Update MIZ paints each jet's modex. The aircraft number from the AC column is written as the jet's board number in the mission — when it's a three-digit number.

  • Run a live carrier marshal stack in RealView. Right-click the boat to start a stack and add aircraft, each getting a holding ring, commence time, and pace ball — shared live so everyone watching the recovery sees and edits the same stack.

  • Set your squadron's go-to template once. In Squadron Settings → Branding, admins can pick a Default Template so new kneeboards and packages open already set to it.

  • Launch from the boat, and recover to it. A carrier in your mission shows up as a Carriers tab when picking a take-off or waypoint location, and can be sent to the Home Plate / Divert table with its TACAN, ICLS, and radio filled in.

  • Renumber your flight by editing one callsign. Change a tactical callsign's flight number on the Flight Members tab — Enfield 1-1 to Enfield 3-1 — and the rest of the flight follows automatically while keeping each position number.

  • Give a comms agency a color and every flight says the same one. The package's Agencies panel has a new Color column, so a spoken color/number callsign like Blue 2 shows on every flight's comm card without retyping.

  • BINGO and JOKER fuel now fill themselves in. Leave them blank on an F-16C, F/A-18C, F-14, A-10C, or AV-8B and your kneeboard computes them, showing Auto until you type your own value.

  • The debrief now opens in 3D by default — globe terrain and labeled aircraft, Tacview-style — with everything still a toggle, so a view you've already dialed in stays as you left it.

  • Preset points can now live on a theater overlay or package, flowing down to every flight that uses them, tagged Squadron, Theater, or Package wherever you pick locations or snap.

  • Importing a .miz into a theater overlay now pulls in its DCS navigation points — like NTTR's DREAM and GASS PEAK — which you pick from a new Preset Points tab in the import dialog.

  • Merge neighbouring mission areas into one graphic. Lift the first region, then Shift-click each adjoining area to fuse them into one merged shape, with mergeable areas lit green under the cursor.

  • Lift an imported mission drawing straight into a battlefield graphic. Expand a graphic, hit Lift, and click any loaded theater-overlay drawing to copy its exact shape, line style, and color — fully editable afterward.

  • Right-click a graphic vertex on the map to delete it (or copy its coordinates), while drawing or editing.

  • Snap a graphic's points to your waypoints. Hold Shift while dragging a battlefield graphic's vertex and it now latches onto your flight-plan waypoints too.

  • Tuck an area's label into a corner. Each graphic area has a new Label pad to pin its name left/right or top/bottom inside the shape, so it stops overlapping the border or a neighbouring zone.

  • Right-click a friendly air-defense site to see its coverage blindspots. Choose Show Viewshed to shade in blue the terrain a friendly site's radar can't see, so you can spot gaps in your own SAM umbrella.

  • See and manage every open viewshed from one spot. A compact Viewsheds list in the top-right of the map lets you jump to a site or close its viewshed, even when the source is off-screen.

  • Tanker and AWACS orbit tracks are now full tracks you can snap to and shape by the numbers. Shift+drag a waypoint to lock it to the orbit, and set color, length, width, and heading right on the asset's Support tab row.

  • Theater overlay editor: shape each support asset's orbit by the numbers. Editing a tanker/AWACS/carrier now includes an orbit editor for anchor, size, heading, and color that every flight using the overlay picks up.

  • A sharper Nevada (NTTR) map — DCS Accurate v2. Pick DCS Accurate v2 for a higher-resolution Nevada range on interactive and exported maps.

  • Publish read-only theater-overlay maps. Pick overlays, map style, Layers state, and grid settings, then copy a stable URL for briefings or websites.

  • In-game DTC cartridges now fill the new June DCS pages. F-16C downloads carry GEO LINES, THREAT PTS, and DEST points; F/A-18C fills the new SA page with CAP, orbits, corridors, FAOR/FLOT, MEZ rings, and sensor settings — and the cartridge now embeds correctly in your .miz.

  • The Misc tab's Carrier section (F/A-18C) gains TACAN, BRC, and Link 4 fields alongside ICLS and ACLS, shown on the Warhawks carrier strip and carried into the F/A-18C in-game DTC.

  • Route lines now have color and thickness controls. In the Routes tab, set a route's color and thickness — thick red ingress, thin blue egress — on both interactive and exported maps.

  • New Waypoint Label Size control in Design Settings sizes the waypoint number labels independently of the marker symbol, on interactive and exported maps.

  • New Doghouse Style control in Design Settings. Keep the classic Full doghouse, or switch to Simple — a slim arrow on the leg showing just magnetic heading and distance.

  • The Notes page text-size selector now applies on export for the MilSpec pack too, so the exported kneeboard matches the preview.

  • Satellite Tasking now has a Go to coordinate box — type a point in DD, DDM, DMS, or MGRS to drop the collection window right on it.

  • The map can now show preset points. New layer toggles draw your squadron's My Points and the built-in Nav Points as labeled circles you can also Shift+drag-snap waypoints onto.

  • Hide the bullseye when you don't need it. The map's Layers menu has a new Bullseye toggle to clear the rings and spokes, then bring them back with a click.

  • C-130J flights can now build up to 10 route cards in the Routes tab, like the UH-60L and CH-47F, for ingress, objective, egress, and return legs.

  • The Misc tab's Weather section got a full rebuild — a compact METAR strip with a Configure dialog for all 34 DCS cloud presets, cloud base, and a sky profile diagram showing layers, winds, freezing level, fog, dust, and precipitation.

  • Weather is now package-level — every flight in a package briefs the same atmosphere automatically, shown read-only on the flight's Misc tab.

  • The bullseye is now package-level too — set it once on the package and every flight measures from the same point, shown read-only on each flight.

  • Export to DCS writes your weather into the .miz — cloud preset and base, winds, temperature, QNH, visibility, fog, dust, snow, and ice halo all land in the mission file.

  • Wind direction is set on a compass dial — click, drag, or scroll to point the arrow downwind; contrail levels now compute from temperature and visibility caps at the 10SM METAR ceiling.

  • MIZ import now reads the whole DCS weather picture — multi-layer cloud groups, the modern fog system, and snow, snowstorms, dust storms, and ice halos all show up in your kneeboard weather.

  • Generated METARs are sharper — rain intensity from the preset, rain becoming snow below freezing, reduced visibility for rain/fog/dust, and a new cloud-layers summary field.

  • Theater Overlays: group entries by Location (MGRS grid square) in the editor, just like the OpFor tab.

  • Theater Overlays: the editor map gains the main map's style control — tileset, terrain shading, and MGRS grid, remembered between sessions.

  • The Timeline tab now works for every flight, not just flights in a package — solo flights get the same draggable mission timeline and route playback.

  • F-16C flights now export for JAFDTC — a .jafdtc file with steerpoints, TOS times, attack offsets, radio presets, datalink STNs, CMDS programs, the HTS table, and bingo/laser/TACAN settings.

  • A-10C flights now export for JAFDTC — a .jafdtc file with waypoints, all three radios, DSMS/TGP laser codes, SADL IDs, TACAN, squawk, and altitude warnings.

  • F-14A Tomcat flights are now available, with everything the F-14B had plus the A's own weight numbers; MIZ import matches both DCS F-14A variants.

  • AH-64D fuel predictions are now speed-based from real Apache performance data, with the flight plan and Torque Profile chart sharing one burn model.

  • Template Builder: text alignment controls — per-column header and body alignment in the block inspector, plus template-wide, per-page, and per-block defaults.

  • Package briefing maps now have an Aircraft timeline scrubber — save a slide with each flight's planned position at a moment, and slides animate between saved moments.

  • AJS37 Viggen and MB-339A flights are now available, with loadouts, comm presets, routes, MIZ import, and debrief icons; AJS37 downloads include the native CustomCartridge.ini.

  • Theater Overlays: importing a .miz now brings in naval ship groups as Naval ground units; carriers still come in as support assets.

  • Side-by-side layout: drag the divider between the data tabs and map to resize the split, from 30/70 to 70/30.

  • Briefing slides now have an Image button for adding a PNG, JPEG, or WebP without the drag-and-drop trick.

  • Debrief 3D view: new Padlock secondary camera modifier keeps the secondary selection in view from orbit or FPV.

  • UH-60L and CH-47F flights can now build up to 10 route cards in the Routes tab for ingress, objective, egress, and return legs.

  • Routes and Range Plan now have Set Custom Bounds, matching OpFor — draw the box that frames route and range maps in preview and export.

  • Misc tab: Mission # is now editable for Mission Header blocks; the duplicate TASK field is gone.

  • Comm Plan tab: Radio Glance preset lists now live with the flight's comm data; condensed rows can use sampled presets or raw manual text.

  • Template Builder: the block picker is now grouped and more compact.

  • Agencies can now carry a frequency per band (UHF / VHF / FM / HF) — pick one "Tower" or "AWACS" and the right frequency drops into each radio across a mixed package, with in-band dropdowns and conflict warnings.

  • Squadron Settings → Preset Points now supports multi-select — tick rows (Shift+click for a range, header checkbox for a theater), then delete or export the selection in one go.

  • Squadron Settings → Members now shows the invite link above the member list, and editors can copy it too; regenerating still takes an admin.

  • Sidebar: collapse a package to tuck its flights out of the way — each package remembers whether you left it open or closed.

Fixes

  • AH-64D DTC routes now keep the order you built. Routes no longer get rearranged by number in the downloaded .dtc. Re-download your DTC to pick up the fix.
  • External fuel tanks now count toward your max fuel across Tomcat, Strike Eagle, Phantom, Mirage F1, MiG-29, F-5, Black Hawk, and more.
  • Auto-filled elevations now match the in-game terrain on every map, accurate on Marianas, Iraq, Normandy, and everywhere else.
  • Shared kneeboard links now read elevations from the in-game terrain, matching what the planner shows.
  • Debrief track colors now follow the name on the track, moving with renames.
  • Your downloaded kneeboard now lists every pilot the preview shows. Re-download your kneeboard to pick up the fix.
  • Airfields that were dropping off the map are back. Marj Ruhayyil on Syria — plus a handful of parallel-runway fields like Cairo, Nevatim, McCarran, and several Normandy strips — now show as map markers and take-off/divert locations again.
  • Your downloaded Range Plan map now matches what you see online. Re-download your kneeboard to pick up the fix.
  • Update MIZ now writes your second radio's presets too, fixing the F-14 and F-15E.
  • The route page's fuel-remaining column now reflects your whole plan. Tanker top-offs, climb/descent burn, and holds all show up in the F. REMG column on the route page, in both simple and advanced route modes.
  • The waypoint Reposition relative to… list is clearer. Each reference now reads as a single waypoint number, you can offset from your take-off point, and the waypoint you're moving no longer shows up in its own list.
  • Repositioning your take-off point on the map now works — right-click it and choose Reposition relative to… to place it off a bearing and distance from a waypoint.
  • Switching between flights is faster.
  • Targets and threats you add to a theater overlay now save even if you close the editor right away — adding one and immediately closing no longer loses it.
  • A theater overlay's threat and target counts now update as you add them, instead of staying stuck until you reopen the editor.
  • New tanker, AWACS, and CAP orbits now default to a left-hand turn.
  • F-14 AIM-54 Phoenix is back under Air-to-Air in the loadout instead of Unguided Bombs — all four variants now group with the other air-to-air missiles.
  • F-14 Tomcat recon and pod loadouts are on the kneeboard — TARPS, LANTIRN, ALQ-167 ECM, Expanded Chaff Adapter, CBU-99, and 300-gal tanks, with correct weights; the F-14A and F-14B also gain AIM-7E Sparrows.
  • Aircraft loadouts refreshed to the latest DCS update — Mirage F1EE gets BAP-100/BAT-120 racks, the F-4E gets the GPU-5 gun pod, MiG-29A weapons re-synced, and AH-64D gun-ammo weight corrected.
  • Changing the selected comm preset now clears the old one in the comm plan's SEL column, and clicking a selected dot again unselects it so a radio can start on no preset.
  • More enemy air defences now get a threat ring in the debrief, including the SA-10, SA-5, and NASAMS, each at its real engagement range.
  • Tanker and AWACS orbits now show on briefing maps, drawing in their color on the Support Tracks layer.
  • Viewsheds you turn on now stay on after a refresh — enabled coverage viewsheds save with the design and come back as you left them.
  • Air corridors now draw with open ends so the route reads as something you fly through; a corridor closed into a loop still draws all the way around.
  • Doghouses now sit square on their route legs again instead of tilting off the line, most noticeable on far-north theaters like Kola. Re-export to pick up the fix.
  • OH-58D Kiowa radios now line up on the Warhawks kneeboard and in-game DTC — UHF, VHF, FM1, and FM2 each carry their own frequencies. Re-download your DTC to pick up the fix.
  • CAP tracks now draw on the exported kneeboard map, rendering as a dashed pill in your chosen color on the tracks layer.
  • The F/A-18C carrier strip now spans the full width on export and drops ICLS and ACLS when left blank, matching TACAN, BRC, and Link 4.
  • RealView stays smooth no matter how long you leave it connected, even on busy servers over a long session.
  • Renaming a copied mission now shows the new name when you publish it — the Publish dialog, public page, file name, and package badge all use the name you chose.
  • The name you type when importing a .miz now sticks instead of being overwritten by the flight's name; leave it blank and picking a flight still fills one in.
  • Duplicating a mission now copies all of its settings, including the Template Builder template, per-leg maps, map symbology, tick style, marker size, and doghouse style.
  • The CBU-99 now has fuze settings on the F/A-18C — Mk 339 Mod 1 delays or the FMU-140 proximity fuze with airburst height — and your choice rides into the DTC, so re-download your cartridge.
  • Curved route lines and tick marks no longer draw through a waypoint on exported and per-leg maps — they clip cleanly at the marker.
  • OpFor presets now remember which overlay items you'd hidden or shown — the eye toggles travel with the preset.
  • Editing a support asset in a theater overlay no longer wipes the overlay's ground units — escort ships, SAM sites, and vehicles stay put.
  • A template shared from another squadron now opens read-only with a Duplicate to edit button; owners and admins of a single shared-with squadron can edit it directly.
  • Minute tick marks now match the doghouse time instead of packing in too tightly up high. Distance-based ticks are unchanged.
  • Your map graphics now line up on the per-leg maps — FEZ boxes, FLOT and STOP lines, and other shapes turn with the rotated map.
  • Map editing tools no longer stay armed after you switch tabs, so your next map click lands where you expect. Waypoints and Range Plan still share their set-on-map target.
  • The map now follows the tab you're on between waypoints and graphics — the Graphics tab treats waypoints as read-only so clicks go to your drawing.
  • Ground units and friendly air defense can now be dragged on the overlay map, just like threats and targets; Shift+drag still snaps to nearby points.
  • The "Place on map" button no longer scrolls the overlay editor and hides the top — it just brings the matching row into view.
  • Theater overlay ground units can now be set to Neutral from the Side dropdown, so the list matches the grey marker on the map.
  • New OpFor entries now drop where you're looking on the overlay map instead of out in the ocean at 0°/0°.
  • Route waypoints no longer look cut off while the map is loading — the map holds its place so every waypoint stays visible.
  • Lifting a loop drawing into a graphic no longer leaves duplicate points behind — the lifted graphic keeps just the points the shape needs.
  • F-16C Range Plan and divert points now carry a readable HSD label — the first three characters of the description (so "Departure" reads as DEP).
  • The "Skip ED In-Game DTC Sections" setting is now honored when you download your kneeboards, leaving Waypoints, CMS, and Radios unchecked. Re-download your DTC to pick up the fix.
  • F-16C .dtc no longer uploads an empty HARM/HTS table, so cartridge loads are quicker when there's nothing real to send. Re-download your DTC to pick up the fix.

  • With larger waypoint markers, advanced-mode route lines now stop cleanly at the bigger marker edges.
  • Right-click Copy Coordinates now copies in the format shown in the map's coordinate readout — click it to cycle DD / DDM / DMS / MGRS.

  • The MIZ import preview was double-converting weather units and showed "Clear" for cloud presets — it now matches what lands on the kneeboard.
  • Speed fields in the Waypoints and Routes tabs now wait until you leave the field before filling in the computed value, so deleting a speed no longer fights your edit.
  • Entering an extreme speed no longer corrupts downstream ETAs.
  • The third speed unit is now labeled GS (ground speed) instead of TAS. Saved speeds keep working.
  • Switching a speed's unit (CAS / Mach / GS) keeps an auto-calculated speed exact, just displayed in the unit you picked. The WarHawks, Nightmares, and Panthers packs now print speeds with their unit.
  • Solo flights now get the ROLE column in the Waypoints tab, and the Timeline picks the roles up too.
  • Waypoint editing on the map is snappier — lines and tick marks follow the drag, and Ctrl+Click drops the waypoint instantly.
  • Share pages now collapse empty columns the way previews and downloads always have.
  • Share pages now show per-leg map pages with the same DCS-grid navigation headings as the downloaded ZIP.
  • Server integrations: custom servers now accept a pasted URL, and errors say what to fix.

  • F-16C DTC exports of HADB and TOSS attacks now match the planner exactly.
  • The theater-overlay drawings map layer is now called Drawings everywhere, separate from Graphics; the standalone tool is now the Drawing Tool.
  • Template Builder: tweaking a page's theme settings and then switching pages right away no longer overwrites the first page's layout with the second's.
  • Keyhole satellite captures now frame the selected collection box more tightly top to bottom, no longer backing out to fit the box's diagonal.
  • Briefing maps now stay mounted when slides switch between package flights, so saved views and timeline animations continue smoothly.
  • HOMEPLATE/DIVERT CRS now uses DCS-grid runway headings in DCS navigation mode, so fields like Ramstein Runway 27 show the in-sim magnetic course.
  • Briefing maps now follow Advanced Routes again — selected flights render their route lines, and overview maps draw sibling lines in route order.
  • Timeline aircraft playback no longer jumps back to an earlier Task waypoint when later waypoints fall inside the task window.
  • Debrief 3D view: Tomahawk/TASM missiles in Tacview replays now show a missile model instead of disappearing for BGM-109 variants.
  • Theater Overlay ground-unit groups now split into individual map markers based on spread, so wide naval formations no longer stay collapsed.
  • Package Agencies now show separate UHF, VHF, FM, and HF frequency columns, matching theater agencies.
  • Route map previews now frame the selected route instead of being pulled toward unrelated legs or sibling flights; the line clips cleanly at the TO marker.
  • Route card previews now use the same DCS-grid magnetic headings as exported kneeboards, so theaters like CW Germany match preview and ZIP.
  • Graphics tab: Air Corridor graphics now draw the whole path, show the default 5 nm band right away, and keep a cleaner shape through sharp turns.
  • Graphics tab: dragging an existing map vertex no longer adds an extra point when you release it.
  • Package master views no longer leave an empty kneeboard-preview gap when side-by-side layout is on.

  • Debrief: radio recordings attached to a replay can be removed again from the audio tracks menu.
  • Debrief: Tacview replays no longer crash when labels are enabled but a unit has no label text. Long .acmi files already uploaded should open normally.
  • Comm plan presets: duplicating a comm plan to another squadron — or applying one in a different package — no longer drops the saved frequencies. Re-apply the preset to fix any blank plan.
  • OH-58D Kiowa DTC: the cartridge now carries the three nav databases the way the aircraft expects — waypoints as 1W, control points as 1C, and target points as 1T. Re-download your DTC to pick up the change.

  • Map images with lots of overlays, battlefield graphics, or airports now export reliably instead of silently failing when too large.
  • F-4E Phantom now mounts a single inner-wing AIM-9 on the outboard rail for both pylons, giving symmetric loadouts.
  • F-4E Phantom dropped the BDU-33×3 + AIM-9 inner-wing combos DCS won't actually load; BDU-33×2 + AIM-9 still works — reselect the inner wing on affected designs.
  • Import MIZ... now lives under Mission in the design right-click menu instead of Share & Export.

  • Advanced route mode — ETA / Time over Steerpoint from the Waypoints tab no longer bleeds onto the kneeboard or DTC; the route is the only source.
  • Timeline tab (advanced route mode) — dragging push, hold, or task times on a non-default primary route now updates downstream arrival, duration, and RTB correctly.
  • Timeline tab (advanced route mode) now reflects the primary route only instead of mixing times from every enabled route.

  • Support tab — each row's ⋮ menu has a new Clear location option to drop a placed asset's coordinates and orbit without deleting the row.
  • Loadout presets now accept commas, slashes, parentheses, and periods, so a name like Mk-82 (4x), AIM-9 no longer errors.

  • Tactical map DMPI edit — creating a DMPI on a stacked SAM group's EWR or HQ ring now shows only that group's units.
  • Custom server integrations — the Edit dialog now loads the existing host, port, and role; leave a password blank to keep the one on file.

  • Dropping an ACMI on the builder now jumps straight to the new debrief once the upload finishes.
  • Single-runway airfields (Ramat David, Tel Nof, Creech, Eastchurch…) no longer get bogus L/R designations, while real parallel runways keep theirs.
  • Divert runway picker now also lists runways DCS knows by name but doesn't fully model (Creech 13-31, Syria Ramat David 09-27).

Features

  • New Link All button on the package master pulls every flight back to the package's data for a tab in one click, confirming first.
  • Package flights now inherit the package's watermark when they don't have one of their own; a flight's own watermark still wins.
  • Empty columns hide automatically across more kneeboard tables — flight plan, aircrew, support, home plate, threats, targets, and range waypoints — with core route and pilot columns always shown.
  • New Exit Point (XP) waypoint type for fixed-wing aircraft marks the end of a low-level run, so the chronometer column only shows for legs flown low.
  • The /debrief page is now a cross-squadron index of every recording from your squadrons, newest first, with an Upload button and drag-to-upload.
  • Squadron ops log now hides unattached debriefs by default, with a filter for Attached only / All / Unattached only and an inline trash button.
  • ACMI files no longer need a specific design — drop one anywhere in the builder to upload it as a squadron debrief and Attach… it to a design later.
  • OH-58D Kiowa — new L2MUMS column on the Flight Members tab and Page 1 roster, a 4-digit network ID for the Manned-Unmanned System.
  • F/A-18C Hornet — new CARRIER strip on Page 2 with ICLS and ACLS channels for boat ops, entered from the Misc tab.
  • Pasted METAR strings on the Misc tab now render exactly as entered; editing any other weather field drops the override and resumes the auto-generated METAR.
  • New SAM threat picker entries: SA-15M2 Tor M2 Gauntlet (8.7 nm), SA-22 Pantsir-S1 Greyhound (10.8 nm), and IRIS-T SLM (21.6 nm).
  • The Igla MANPADS picker entry is renamed to its NATO designation SA-18 Grouse; existing "Igla" threats still render correctly.

Fixes

  • Print-to-PDF from a published kneeboard now matches the on-screen preview instead of narrowing the layout and wrapping text onto extra lines.
  • MIZ-imported SA-22 Pantsir, IRIS-T SLM, and SA-18 Igla units now draw the correct threat ring on the map.

Bug Fixes

  • The Strike Eagle's DTC now carries your CARA ALOW, ILS frequency, and laser code — Misc-tab and Flt Members entries load instead of the 250 ft and 1688 defaults; re-download your DTC to pick up the fix.
  • Rocket pods on a triple rack now weigh what three of them weigh — TER and BRU-42 combos on the A-10C, Viper and Hornet were priced as a single pod, throwing off takeoff weight and fuel planning.
  • The Viper's Sniper pod is 211 lbs lighter, and the Phantom's Mavericks, Pave Spike and ALQ-131 are selectable again.
  • The Tomcat's TARPS pod no longer blocks stores the jet can actually carry — station 3 and 6 keep Mk-82s, Mk-83s, GBU-12s and GBU-16s alongside the pod, and every other Tomcat station rule now matches the mission editor.
  • Missions that other editors and generators wrote now import — .miz files that were rejected as invalid load their flights, threats, and drawings like any other.
  • The package Default Plans VHF column now fills an agency's VHF frequency — dual-band agencies stop stamping their UHF frequency into the VHF and V/UHF rows.
  • Weather numbers with a zero after the decimal point can be typed again — entering a QNH of 30.03 no longer drops the decimal halfway through.
  • Notes pages that are a pasted or resized picture no longer download blank — the image now appears in the ZIP at the same size as the preview.
  • Target and DMPI symbols shrink onto their aimpoint as you close in on the 3D debrief, so a low pass or weapon view shows the exact spot instead of a billboard over it.
  • Routes can visit the same waypoint twice — repeats now keep their own ToT, speed, and push for shuttle runs and racetracks (Ctrl+Click the map to re-add a waypoint); F-16C and F/A-18C cartridges collapse repeats, but helicopters and others allow them.
