Routes
The Routes tab provides multi-route planning for aircraft that support advanced route mode. Each route defines an ordered sequence of waypoints and control measures with per-point flight data.
Route Modes
The Routes tab has a Simple/Advanced toggle in its header:
- Simple (default) — Routes follow sequential waypoints from the Flight Plan tab (1, 2, 3...).
- Advanced — Enables named routes, each with a custom point sequence drawn from waypoints and control measures.
Advanced mode is available for AH-64D Apache, OH-58D Kiowa, F/A-18C Hornet, and A-10C Warthog. Other aircraft use Simple mode only.
Route Definition
Each route has a name and a definition that determines which points it includes:

Route Point Fields
Each point within a route can have route-specific overrides:

Auto-Calculated Fields
Each route can have auto-calculation enabled independently. When active, heading, distance, ETE, and fuel remaining are computed between consecutive points using the aircraft's cruise speed and fuel burn rate.
Map Integration
Enabled routes are drawn on the map as colored lines connecting their points. Each route receives a distinct shade of blue based on its index. Click points on the map while editing a route to add them to the sequence.
